******REVIEW******

So I'll start with everything that I liked okay? Because seriously! There were a lot of awesome moments :)

I have to say... I actually started out enjoying myself sooo very much with the book.

I was intrigued, I was hooked, and even though Isis isn't the kind of favorite main character for me... I LOVED David and what Isis was when she was with him... A compeltely different person.

The premise of the book was awesome. I wanted to know what was going on... what was up with the book tittle... I mean... you KNOW my weaknesses right?Plus... I was scared a good 50% of the time... not knowing what would come next.

Oh, the characters! Actually... there were 2 specific characters that completely saved the day. I LOVE them both... and yeap... I'm talking about the twins... There has never been a most awesome twin-convo than this one. Believe me...

ALSO~swoons~ David is SO romantic...

And last but not least... The FREAKING TITTLE has a play in the story... it was IN the book as it was on it... For me that was worth a million! ^___^

Oh!! I almost forgot!! The names!!! I love all the names the author used for her characters...I'll forever remember them!

But what went wrong?

I'm so weird when I read books for review... Out of nowhere I get a more critical eye, I take a million notes and then some more... I use so many sticky notes is ridiculous and I take longer to read the books...
So as was expected... I did all that with this book.
Here it goes...

Okay, I can live with a few typos, we're not perfect people but I really wouldn't have minded a little more editing on that part :D They're not AWFUL I just couldn't help but notice.

Then, there was the plot. I don't think that I know, even now after finishing it, what was the whole plot of the story? Was it Isis & David's love? Was it the fact of someone being a 'Creatura'? Was it the discovery of David's nature or of Isis for that matter? Or... was it Gabriel?

I was halfway through the book and I still didn't know what the whole plot was :/ or maybe I'm just not smart enough T_T in which case... ~blush~

Then... there were a lot of facts that I couldn't get through with... even in writing fiction they were just TOO unreal for me to actually go along with them... Like,
-Someone's in love with a person she/he doesn't even remember being with in the first place. And believe me when I say THAT came out of completely nowhere T_T I was so sad...- Just to mention one...

But in the last few pages... the story picks up... BIG TIME... I still didn't know WHAT exactly was going to happen... BUT months passed in spans of a few short paragraphs... :'( it was hard to keep up with all the timing at the end. I almost felt rushed :/

**********

All in all, I still say you should see for yourself if the book is to your liking...
I promise you this though... This is a book like none I've read in my life... and I applaud the author for it and for making me fall in love with twins :D with NO way or possibility to be able to choose between the 2 :D

One last thing...
OH
MY
GOD
What is with the ending?!

I think the ending was completely a killer one... and I might just pick the second book to figure out what exactly was happening with Isis...

I give this book-I debated the rating a lot. I take this really seriously and in the end I remembered that I didn't cry at all while reading the book. And you guys know what that means, right?.-
2fotitos=Will never make me cry.

This week's picture

-"Aren't you afraid?"
"Of what?"
"Of losing yourself."
"That's what I'm hoping for."-
Linger by Maggie Stiefvater -Wolves of Mercy Falls #2-

**********

I can't remember everything I did with the picture only that I overlaid it with a black-kind of border.

I love this quote, that's why I tried to adapt the picture to it, rather than the other way around. I wanted it to look like from the character's-quote- POV.

How would the world seem when you're starting to lose yourself?

BookPics is Curious- What's your take?

I'm a really cover-lover kind of person.

If your book has an out-of-this-world kind of amazing cover, it is 99.9% true that somehow, someway, the book will end up in my shelves. -Remembering what my favorite genres are... always-

I also am picky in a very special way.

No, it doesn't mean that if the cover isn't good in the eyes I won't buy it. But it means that if I see similar covers repeatedly in a lot of different books by different authors I most likely be wary and then maybe, just maybe, just because of that... the possibilities of me buying the book will definitely be reduced... say like on a 60%... meaning... there's a 40% or less of a probability of me even trying to buy the book...

DON'T take this the wrong way... I've read some AMAZING out-of-this-world, kind of books with really sad covers, sad meaning not good looking or attractive at all... So I'm NOT saying that if a book cover isn't good you don't have to buy that... I AM NOT SAYING THAT!

But what I have never really thought about was of some book cover looking definitely too much like a replica of no other than a movie poster...
Seriously... it struck me in all kinds of ways.

Add to that the fact that is a movie poster from a movie that I really really enjoyed and that I had been looking forward to for a LONG time and that the book's cover I related it to is... well. I just saw it randomly on facebook. And when I saw it I thought it was some kind of joke or a prank you know... the troll things that lately have taken up residency on all networks...

Anyway. I clicked the image to enlarge and -_- well, at first I instantly thought that I had seen that cover before and then... T_T well I remembered the movie poster and immediately was wary of it...

~*~*~*~

So, here's what I'm curious about...

What do you think...

Have you ever seen a book cover that was almost, the exact same replica of a movie poster before???

What would you think if you were to find one of your favorite movie's poster as an alteration of a book cover?? One that isn't related to the movie in the least...

~*~*~*~

This is/was a first to me and thinking about how I reacted I don't think I'd like to find more from these... If it isn't like, you know a movie adaptation of a certain book and then an edition of said book comes out with the movie poster as the cover? I'm okay with that and I love it, like the Twilight Saga books or The Hunger Games books... but what about this?

~*~*~*~

I present you the book cover->

Um... I kind of like it. Love the girl's pose. The backgrounds... the settings... the color... she has a mysterious looking liquid in that glass on her right hand, even the tittle... oooh how cute! A Pig! Oh my... and let's NOT start with her clothes... I love them, she looks like a warrior waiting for battle and...

Wait a minute O_o

I think...

I MIGHT have seen this somewhere else...

What other book.... wait... wait....

-INSERT MAJOR GASP-

Oh clouds no!! NO

NO and

NO!

I KNOW where I think I saw this...

Um... ~rubs imaginary beard~

Too tiny right? And there's more than a single person in this picture... um... This girl is posing looking the opposite way that the girl in the book's cover is. Right...?

Let's get a much better look, shall we?

Oh WOW! NOW I see the resemblance... it all looks WAY too similar to me... but wait a minute... There's no pig in here right?? ~looks for piggy~

Nope... and this one still has some minor differences... like it's TOO dark... um...

Let's see...

HERE

O___________O

No pig... but another animal...
No glass containing a really magic-looking liquid... But a sword instead...
Not looking over her right shoulder but from her left...

See people??
It gets too close to home... and I don't think I like it... Really...

Don't like it....

~*~*~*~

What about you???
Care to comment so I can quench my curiosity??

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This past saturday we held a father's day dinner at home... and my cousin got to see all my pretty books!! While showing her some I remember I saw Sarah Dessen's books and also remember having my little sister's headphones sitting right beside my laptop and I knew right there and then that I wanted to take a picture of them both! Meaning the book and the headphones.
Anyway... this is what came up with,
“There comes a time when the world gets quiet and the only thing left is your own heart. So you'd better learn the sound of it. Otherwise you'll never understand what it's saying.”
Just Listen by Sarah Dessen
I worked hard to remove all the background lol it was messy.
I'm a spur-of-the-moment kind of picture-taker hehehe so I just took the book and headphones and placed them on the table... completely forgot about the background! There were tons of things hahah I think the flash helped remove some and then I edited some more, little contrast... more vibrance and color :D
Also, the effect added was for the quote... I think that's what I'd see while trying to listen and understand the beat and sound of my heart <3 I don't know... I thought it was kind of romantic :) and cute >.<
Cover Obsession #9 + Some Cover Reveals
Cover Obsession is a feature here on BookPics.
-I really don't know if anyone else does it as I do but I'm not trying to steal any other ideas out there-
In which I tell you what new book covers I'm completely in love with, pinning for, drooling over, tearing-up over, going all OH CLOUD! on and all the other AMAZING-FANTASTIC-AWESOME-BOOKPIC-LY verbs and adjectives and adverbs you can think of that just simply aren't enough to describe how I feel towards said covers so,
I just go ahead and OBSESS over them :D
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week I'm obsessing with/over
Tell me a thing I wouldn't like about this cover??? Other than the fact that the font's color is a bit pale?? I still love it though, because it goes with the cover as a whole!
I LOVE Kelley's YA books! LOVE THEM TO DEATH and their covers as well! It's amazing how beautiful and intriguing they can be and this one didn't fail...
I've read only the first book on the Darkness Rising trilogy :'( the bookstore doesn't want to bring it, anyway
The Rising by Kelley Armstrong -Darkness Rising #3-
COVER REVEALS
I woke up yesterday, to some AMAZING news... including Brodi Ashton's books... then today... there were a couple of new covers that I saw, so I decided to share them here:D
First up is,
*SPOILERS* Don't read the description in the cover if you haven't read book #1 yet.
I know, I know... you're probably wondering what am I showing here? But let me tell you... I had first thought of adding this one to my COVER OBSESSION instead of the cover reveal post, because I'm seriously obsessing over this!!! But well, until the front cover is revealed... This'll have to make do...
I present you...
The BACK cover of Everbound by Brodi Ashton -Everneath #2-
I STRONGLY recommend that all of those who haven't read Everneath yet... NOT READ the description... it has some SPOILERS******* so You've been warned! AGAIN!
Second up is,
Hidden by P.C Cast + Kristin Cast -HoN #10-
Um... I know... there are too many books already but I can't help love the cover...plus I've committed myself to read the series till it ends.
Third up is,
Rise by Anna Carey -Eve #3-
You have no idea how heartbroken I am to still haven't managed to buy the first books :'(
But well, I'm still falling in love with the books' covers! I love this one as well as the previous two!
And last but definitely not least,
The Gathering Dark by Christine Johnson
I've been dying to get her other books, the covers!!! ARGH!! I LOVE THEM!! So I'm still saving up for those other 2 books that I want... but look at THIS!
This cover is GORGEOUS!
Any of you read anything by her??
Recommend it? Not?
That's it... for now!
Any book covers you're currently OBSESSING over?
Stacking The Shelves #7
Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews. Where you can post all the books that you're adding to your shelves each week.
*************
Oh, you guys... I'm starting to get worried about certain packages that I'm still waiting to get in the mail :'(
I really really hope they get here soon!!!
On other news, I'm making this post just after a HUGE dinner went down on my house... my sister's and I decided to throw a celebration here at home for all the dads on our most close family members... T_T my sis is almost a chef :'( so you can imagine what type of plates and desserts she wanted to AND made :D
~sigh~
My point is, that it was FUN! But tiresome, therefore there was NO way I was going to be able to make a vlog while I was looking like a tornado went and did it's thing with my hair : /
ANYWAYS...
This week I went to the bookstore and even though I ended up buying a couple of books I don't think I'll be going there anytime soon... T_____T I had the WORST time, the only thing that the store clerks DIDN'T do was asking me to go ahead and leave the store, 'PLEASE'...
It saddens me, because it's the one store that I've always ALWAYS supported here, the one which I gave/give all the ideas and tips as to what YA books were/are selling, which ones were/are coming out, which ones were/are becoming movies... And well, you saw on my Armchair BEA post right? The pictures of the books that are here because of my begging and pushing?
Well, this one visit to the store made me, NOT regret getting those books to come here, but well, now I wish I had gone to the other bookstore... the 'competition' of this regular of mine... ~sigh~ I think I have some serious thinking ahead of me...
Enough with the drama... Let's get on with showcasing my PRETTY PRETTY PRECIOUS!
Here's what will be stacking my shelves this week
Bought
Betrayals by Lili St. Crow -Strange Angels #2-
Jealousy by Lili St. Crow -Strange Angels #3-
FINALLY!! I got the first book on the series last year for my birthday, thanks to my sis... Now she's mad at me for not having picked the book up yet-I mean, it's almost my birthday again!-but I was trying to save $ so I could buy the next 2 (they only have books 1,2&3 at the bookstore) and then start reading the first one hehehehe... I think she isn't mad anymore... so YEY!!! I'm excited!
these are my sis'
Bought
Storm of Visions by Christina Dodd -The Chosen Ones #1-
Storm of Shadows by Christina Dodd -The Chosen Ones #2-
Again, the store only has books 1&2, we both (my sis and I) think we'll never NEVER ever get used to the fact that the bookstore never brings an entire series... NEVER specially when there's a PR series involved... It has happened with the Night Huntress books as well as the Black Dagger Brotherhood, and more recently the Sookie Stackhouse books... argh...
If you could see our faces every single time we ask for the sequels in any series and the answer is 'No we don't have it' or a 'No we're not bringing that one... no really, we're not... ever...' I think you'd join our desperation :'(
BUT thank GOD they had books 1 and 2 now at least my sis will be able to start the series fast! And read them in order :) -the first ones that is.-
So that's my STS/Chronicle post for this week!!!
Again, I'm crossing my fingers for the packages to appear NOW NOW!!
What books will be stalking YOUR shelves this week?
*************
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
Today's Father's Day in my country, not sure when it is in yours but no matter where you are I wish you, your dad, your husband... you know the drill...
The very best father's day!
Blessings AND READ!!! READ!! make all those daddy's read! We need more men joining our community!
My Reading Pile #16
My Reading Pile #16
My reading pile is an idea created by Fiktshun in which you share what your reads for the week are or well the wishful reads-rereads-rerereads and well you get the hint. Check her blog out, I've self-declared myself her #1 Stalker/Follower.
~~~~~

MRP progress & status:
-YEY!!! We're starting to make progress, well, I'm starting to. What about you? hehehehe I finished and reviewed Lies Beneath and you guys, the book was good! So I'd completely recommend it! PLUS! The author RT my review and I nearly cried... nearly...
Also, I've started reading 'Creatura' for the blog tour, I already had a slip with the participation but well... Now you can see the blog tour button on the sidebar! >.< The stop by BookPics is on June 20th :P -though... I had originally signed up for another date... anyway, I won't rant about that here!- so be sure to drop by!!!! :D

Also, I think I was on something last week when I listed Kady Cross' book#2 on the Steampunk Chronicles!! The only advance I've made there is, downloading it to my tablet :/ argh... the galley will expire soon T_T So that's still on the pile...

BUT!!! I did read 'Everneath' by Brodi Ashton and it easily made the list of my favorite 2012 reads ^_______________^ though I think the book affected me in such a way... that so far... I haven't been able to manage review :'( I did write a couple of lines of what I thoughts soon after I read the last word and you're more than welcome to see just exactly how much I loved it by clicking HERE. I'm not kidding you guys, I LOVED LOVED LOVED that book!!! And... Brodi tweeted back to me literally after my goodreads status went up there-on twitter- :'( I had a mini heart attack right then and there T_T FREAKING Brodi Ashton... not in a million years would I have thought she'd even pay attention to my tweet T______T
-HappyAura-

This Week I'll Be Reading:
-I haven't really thought about what I want and NEED to read... but... I remembered just now that I have to start reading another book for review so that means more eBooks T_T oh god, help my eyes lol. But I also want to add to the pile another one I've been seriously dying to read.

Glitch by Heather Anastasiu

I got this one thanks to Netgalley and I'm really really excited to get started with it!! >.<
It's expected to release sometime August... wait... August 7th!!!!!!!!!! yey!! See? I'm being responsible and reading my required reads for review and stuff!!!!!! Seriously though, this book sounds really really good so I'm hopping to like it!

Oh you GUYS! See my moody read for next week!

It's ridiculous how much I've pinned for this book so I'm not going to even try to explain to you guys how freaking excited I am to finally have it and now READ it! >.< (Really, remember my 'Stacking The Shelves' post a couple of weeks ago?) I wish I could just drop everything and start it... but well, I'm TRYING to be responsible you know... Hehehehe We'll see how I do with the review afterwards!

What are YOU guys reading this week?

Cover Obsession #8 -I'm in love-

Cover Obsession is a feature here on BookPics.
-I really don't know if anyone else does it as I do but I'm not trying to steal any other ideas out there-
In which I tell you what new book covers I'm completely in love with, pinning for, drooling over, tearing-up over, going all OH CLOUD! on and all the other AMAZING-FANTASTIC-AWESOME-BOOKPIC-LY verbs and adjectives and adverbs you can think of that just simply aren't enough to describe how I feel towards said covers so,
I just go ahead and OBSESS over them :D
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh boy! Oh boy... if you don't agree with me and my obsession for the first few book covers, it's okay... but I BEG of you, scroll to the FINAL BOOK COVER and you'll see the reason or better put, which cover I'm LITERALLY in love with!!!!
First up is->

Full Moon Kisses by Ellen Schreiber -Full Moon #3-

I'm simply obsessing over the fact that all these books covers go so amazingly well with one another, plus the look she's giving you... -shudders- What exactly is this girl thinking people????

I've never read any of the books in this series BUT, this is the one cover that I'm completely loving out of all of them, seriously.
Those eyes... compelling, completely draws you in... I'd buy this book based on cover alone anytime! So, I'm obsessing over the EYES!

Crimson Frost by Jennifer Estep -Mythos Academy #4-

Tiger's Destiny by Colleen Houck -The Tiger Saga #4-

Even though I couldn't finish the first book in the series, you can't deny it has one of the most amazing cover art EVER!
I'm obsessing over the colors! It varies and differs from the previous ones while also complementing them! >.< Seriously... what is an, eagle is it? Doing on a Tiger's Curse novel? CURIOUS NOW!

And FINALLY! The ONE COVER that was released this week I AM COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH! One that is a MUST in my shelves and in everyone else's for that matter...
I present you...................

BEHOLD
This is what I call, my cover obsession post INCARNATED! Seriously?!
Are you familiar with the series???
I know I am... and I am LOVING that this time around... the colors were chosen in such a way that it goes just SO well... We're used to the font on dark colors... but this one??
Her dress is BLACK so the font and the background both were chosen white...

So I'm obsessing over the change in that... now instead of dark lettering we get dark dress! And instead of dark background we get LIGHT background... I don't even know how to express myself...
Plus, have you seen the pattern or, I don't know, the trend with the covers for the omnibuses? As was done with the first one, we can't see the model's face completely ~winkwink~
So, people... just BUY it!!! >.< I know I'll have to <333333

Soul Screamers Vol.2 by Rachel Vincent -SS# 3, 3.5 & 4-

-reread thoughts- If I Die by Rachel Vincent

Argh.
Writing reviews and thoughts and stuff about my feelings for books while reading them is turning harder and harder...

But I can't help and repeat once again, how amazing this book was/is.

I've read this book more times than I care to admit.
And still...
My heart was broken earlier in the series BUT this book right here is the turning point for, let's just say. EVERYTHING.

I can't believe how in the world author Rachel Vincent came up with a story so extraordinarily original. This book kept me guessing and guessing. I had such a hard time trying not to read the finishing lines... I won the battle. Barely.

When I thought nothing worse could happen to Kay, it happened. When I thought her heart couldn't be any more broken, it was. When I thought the person who had sworn her-things-would keep-his/her-word, the person didn't.

I thought and thought and thought about so many bad things happening but never in my wildest imaginations would I have guessed what this book was going to be focusing on!

So I have nothing more to say than,
I'm painfully heartbroken.
I'm insanely in love.
And I'm completely crazy to find out just what in fact, happens when ones' heart starts to beat again...

Feel me? hehehehehe -that was weird-

Rachel Vincent, once again I'm left completely starstruck and awed by your talent.

And for the first time in the challenge I'll leave you with a passage... because, there isn't a better way to end Fiktshun's SSRC than with something... torturous, enigmatic and...painful :D so as to entice you to pick these books up and read them! I can't believe Before I Wake comes out so soon!

-The pain in my heart swallowed the pain in my stomach like the ocean devours a single drop of rain. Thoughtless, wordless agony washed over me, a loss like I'd never felt before. I was hollow, empty of everything but pain, and the ghost memory of-BEEP-eyes watching me, seeing me like no one else ever had.-

Before I go, I just want to take the time to thank Rachel from Fiktshun and author Rachel Vincent for making my very first experience on a reading challenge THE MOST HAPPY AND CRAZY AND REREADING AND AWESOME thing! Thank you!!!!!!!!! And, well wow. Just wow! I can't believe how generous both of them have been!
Really, thank you from the bottom of my Todlover-Kaysupporter-Nashfan-Sabineeyeroller-Sophiesigh heart!!! Thank YoU!!

Today's Picture

"It won't happen to you. You're too strong. You'll fight it, just like you did this
time."
Shadow Kiss by Richelle Mead -VA #3-

I can't remember when I took the picture. But it was a trip I had to make because I was my grams and mom's driver :D
We went to this tourist place... they had a statue of some virgin there, but that's NOT what caught my attention. At all. What did completely amaze me, were ALL this plaques.
At first I thought they were from gravestones or some kind of thing for the dead, like good-byes or something. But when I asked my mom and after I stopped being afraid... I took a closer look and they were... THANK YOU plaques.

Apparently people go there to pray to the virgin I told you about, they ask for miracles and the likes. And when a miracle happens or one of their, um questions is answered or well, you know... when what they ask for happens... They go ahead and make a plaque saying a quick 'thank you' while also 'quick describing' what it was that they got...

My beautiful people... the wall was HUGE, LARGE, TALL.... And still... they were building for more space...

That's why I chose that quote... they asked things...maybe because they were doubting themselves? maybe because they were desperate? Anyhow... I just imagined what response they might have gotten if their miracles did happen... They got through right?

Well, but that's just me trying to put a story to the quote I chose... Imagining them not asking the virgin but God you know??? hehehe ANYWAY :D

I edited a bit much... hehehehe

-review- Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown

-"I want you to play with her. Be nice. Show her things. Let her have a good time. Keep her out past dinner."-

Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown is one of those books that you pick up being all wary about them but...when read... You take a minute and wonder how in the clouds you ever doubted of reading it in the first place.

When I started reading the book I had only vaguely read the description, as I'm not such a fan of that. But there HAD to be a reason for me to request it on NG right?
Anyway.

Calder White was all kinds of creepy, scary but managing to be vulnerable and cocky. I loved his character! Every interaction he had with his sisters gave me the creeps. And talking about his sisters...
Why is it that every single time you let your guard down, is the one time that the enemy decides to strike? I've always wondered that. Maris was the one and only sister who managed to scare the pants out of me while also making me agree with her, even if she was sick and obsessed. Pavati was a really quiet yet fundamental character and Tallulah? ~shivers~ I'll just say... she was... WOW... just simply WOW!

-She slept more peacefully than anyone I'd ever seen-a stark contrast to my sisters' restless slumber. I wondered if this was the peace that forgiveness brought.-

Have I ever told you about my love for male POV?? Well if you didn't know I'm more than happy to let you know. The story is told from Calder's pov, we see how he struggles with his own semi/nature to decide between what he knows he has to do and what he knows is the right thing to do... They're almost never the same :'(

And Lily and Sophie and their family made me stay warm throughout the whole cold weather that the book was.
Her love of the water, her slight suspicions of things lurking under it, everything, worked wonders to make her meeting Calder one of the most un-random encounters EVER!. Because when reality mixes with fantasy there is not knowing what will happen next, there exists no safety, no trust... no air?

-"... Forgiveness is freedom... Now that I think about it-in some ways, it's kind of a selfish act."-

The story is thrilling, creepy, somewhat scary yet romantic, sweet, real, raw and so very very GOOD.
You'll want to know, you'll want to guess, you'll want to try and breathe water... but you'll never EVER want  it to stop.

What's the price you're willing to pay for the right thing to be done? Would you sacrifice your life? Your love? Your freedom? Your nature? Your family?
But... what exactly is freedom... or family for that matter.

-"... Once he's in the water, we can all take part in dragging him down. We can all get our justice that way. Short and sweet. Done. ..."

I love water, I love cold, and I love male povs'... love that ending...leaving so many possibilities open for your imagination to run wild!
And everything put together is what Lies Beneath has in store for you!

I give this book

5fotitos=~sobs hard~too good to be true!

-review based on an ARC received via Netgalley-

Side Note-> The author said on an interview that the next book will be told form Lily's pov. How exciting!!!

My Reading Pile #15

My Reading Pile #15

My reading pile is an idea created by Fiktshun in which you share what your reads for the week are or well the wishful reads-rereads-rerereads and well you get the hint. Check her blog out, I've self-declared myself her #1 Stalker/Follower.

MRP progress & status:
-I read!! Even though I didn't make a HUGE advance on my reading, since I went off the pile yet again. I did finish reading Dark Awakening and even reviewed it! Thanks to Kristina for recommending moving the book higher on MRP.

I'm currently reading Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown. This is a review book, and I'm so very very glad that I'm liking it!!! I know now that I'll have the review up on monday! And if you want to get it, remember the book releases June 12 ~winkwink~

Netgalley Pile Adds:
-I 'think' I requested one book, but now I can't remember which one it was... I just know I got rejected for the opportunity to read it ^___^

This Week I'll Be Reading:
-I'm really really crossing my fingers that I stick to the plan! I've been going over the books that I'd like to read versus the books that I HAVE to read, and in the end... I'm just going to post what I THINK I MIGHT be ABLE to read hehehe plus, something I hope I'm in the mood for.

Everneath by Brodi Ashton

If you saw last week's STS vlog/post, I think you would know by now that I couldn't go on without reading any of the books that I got last week... And since I just couldn't resist it... I'm adding it to this week's reading pile even though I have like 3 books I have for review :( I'm thinking I'm the worst person ever right now :/

Creatura by Nely Cab

Being very active on facebook brought me to this book. I saw tons of book page owners reading it and giving it amazing praise so my curiosity was awaken BUT you know that I'm not prone to read book descriptions so I stayed away from reading this book's as well and for some reason I assumed that 'Creatura' was historical... and you know that ME + HISTORICAL = </3 most of the times.
So I never even thought to add it to my wishlist.

Late this week... let's just say 1) This is NO historical book and 2) there's a blog tour coming and BookPics is participating!!!!~dances~

This is the second time I'm participating on a blog tour, I had some trouble with my first experience and there aren't happy memories of that so I'm trying this out again...we'll see how it works out. I'm crossing my fingers it rids of the aversion I got towards Blog Tour participations!

And if by some miracle I manage to finish those books I'm hopping to FINALLY read,
The Girl in the Clockwork Collar by Kady Cross -Steampunk Chronicles #2-

I got approved for a galley on NG such a long time ago, but I never found myself in the mood to read it :( -see? I AM the worst person ever!- I was so freaking happy when I got the email telling me that I could now access the tittle! And now the release date has come and gone and I'm here without reading it!

Just a few paragraphs before I told you that historical and me don't mix well, but The Girl in the Steel Corset was one of the few exceptions! I enjoyed and devoured that steampunk novel like there was no tomorrow! That was, also, thanks to NG.

But here I am...the galley will expire soon and I know that if I haven't been able to get a finished copy of the first book there is NO way I'd manage to get a copy of this one... that's why I'll really really try my best to read it before it expires! My heart will be broken if I don't!

**********
Enough of me.

What are YOU guys reading this week?
