Armchair BEA-Oh Clouds! It's The Best of 2012!

Oh boy..this will be a hard one.

I WISH I could host a giveaway today...but I can't!!
But I'll have to work with the suggested topic instead.
“Best of 2012”: share some of your favorite books so far this year, and/or the the books being promoted at BEA that you hope will end up among your favorites for the year!
So I'll just make a quick ramble about the best books I've read in 2012...
Starting with-----
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Touch Morbid by Leah Clifford

This book blew my mind away. It was so dark yet so beautiful-in a really creepy way.-
I gave it my special rating on the blog.
And you can check out my review HERE.
I got an ARC as a gift from one of my book angels and then BOOM I was doomed...I read it more times after the first time...~winkwink~
But seriously...I had been DYING to read this book since I finished the first one...that ending right there of ATM1...

Ashen Winter by Mike Mullin

Oh noes...I fell completely in love with Ashfall by Mike Mullin last year.
I got lucky enough to be approved for a galley over at NG for both Ashfall and Ashen Winter. You're welcome to read my Ashfall review HERE.
I really don't know how or WHAT he does...I just know he DOES it.
It's the one book that has managed to make me put it down for a while just to control my erratic breathing and my stuttering heart.
BOTH books are amazing...but had to list this one because is the one I read this year. And my review hasn't been posted yet.
-The book isn't out yet, comes out October 2012-

The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting

HOW could I NOT list this one? It was one of the most anticipated tittles for me...
-My regular followers know this-Kim is one of the 3 authors besides Stephenie Meyer, who brought me back to reading.
Her books are a MUST in my shelves, in my mind and in my heart.
Therefore...I was completely a crying mess when another book angel of mine sent me a copy...I dropped my current read at the time this book arrived...devoured it AND oh clouds!! It is by far, the BEST of TBF books.
If you haven't read her books yet...please do so! She is AMAZING.
But, because she is ONE of those amazing authors for me...I don't review her books, call me crazy or weird...but I just can't :( thought, I do write a few sentences to tell you my thoughts.

Easy by Tammara Webber

I thought I'd never see the day when a matureYA book would get to me on such a high level as Tammara's book did.
I cried a lot, I laughed endlessly, and I related to a lot of it too...and -nope, not to THAT specific thing but to another thing altogether-
I found out about this author thanks to Fiktshun.
-For my regular bookpic-ERS you know I mention Fiktshun a lot here.-
This is a complete MUST read. I don't know what else to say other than you'd understand me a BIT better if you checked out my review HERE. This one also earned the special BookPics rating.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for the book that is being promoted at BEA that I hope becomes one of my fave?
I don't know!! :'(
-kidding-

The other author on my-3 that brought me back to reading-is
Maggie Stiefvater...
AND...
She's at BEA right NOW...
AND...
I'm DYING of jealousy...all those that are going to meet her T_T
And I'm here-at my mostly unknown country, with no... kidding, T_T BUT sometimes I think that's better... Because I have No idea what I'd do if I were to meet her. I think I most definitely would faint.
BUT the thing is...

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater... T_T
I just read some tweets from bloggers I follow that are attending BEA and she READ from this book you guys!
READ!!
And I'm dying and crying and dying all over again!
I am hoping with every single fiber of my being that this book rock my socks!!
I simply CANNOT wait for it!!
-Side note-
Have you seen the trailer of the book?
I'm not a book trailer kind of reader but from Maggie?? Cloud, YES!

And that's it!!! These are my Best of 2012 books!
&
A hopefully best of 2012 book :D
What are yours?

  7. So many great books on your list, although most are just on my TBR list. I just need there to be more than 24hrs in a day so I can get to all of them.

Love the blog design, btw! Also, I may have stared at your Team Adam button that's right beside my comment for way longer than necessarily appropriate. YUM!

I hope you have a great BEA-filled week!
