-Review- On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

Image
Goodreads Shortie: Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare… My thoughts? Oh wow... It's been months... literally since I read this book... I kept struggling with this review... Came up empty when I wanted to put into words what I really thought about it... I mean. It's not everyday that a book moves you when you haven't gone through the situation it describes and still... Argh... To author Samantha Young, I swear I've tried.... I've sat on my bed countless nights trying to do your book justice but it just wouldn't come... But now I'm determined to simply say... I FREAKING LOVED IT!! It was amazing and loving and so very well written! I instantly connected to the main character, Jocelyn, who wouldn't like her? She felt so real, so very centered and down to earth. I didn't have any problem believing this could be a friend of mine. A lot of books have that problem, ...

WOAH there... 20? Really Alba... couldn't you even pretend you could make a short list? Nooo... This missy had to go ALL the way to the 2 + 0 number... -don't add that...math's not the point :D- But you see... I tried making the list all sorts of different and I MIGHT do that anyway... Dividing them into the ones that made me cry... made me laugh... Making a MOODY 2012 READS but these ones... These ones were reads that... stuck with me... I don't think I'll ever be able to get over them... Maybe with time and some therapy in between it could be done. But while we wait... Let's take a look at the books I picked... struggled to choose... Lost sleep over kind of thing... Argh... Don't ramble don't ramble. Oh, I almost forgot. I did TONS of rereading this past year but I won't put those on the list... I mean... There IS a reason why I rerereread them. Right? Okay, let's see how we do this :D 20. Lover Avenged by J.R. -review- Everneath by Brodi Ashton

Image
Goodreads shortie: Last spring, Nikki Beckett vanished, sucked into an underworld known as the Everneath, where immortals Feed on the emotions of despairing humans. [...] She has six months before the Everneath comes to claim her, six months for good-byes she can’t find the words for, six months to find redemption, if it exists. ****** The characters-scenery: When one is presented with such complex and unique characters, there is NOTHING, nothing that one could add about them in a review. But let me just tell you a BIT~ hello sarcasm hehehe ~about the amazing characters that author, Brodi Ashton created... When you pick the book up and start reading you're immediately sucked into a really detailing scenario and you feel exactly, what main character Nikki, feels and sees. Her emotions are raw even though she doesn't wear them under her sleeve or on her face by reading from her POV you definitely FEEL with and for her. I also fell in love, HARD, with a ma...

-review- Easy by Tammara Webber

I tried my best, beautiful people.  And I hope that I made a good-enough review.  Forgive me if I didn't. My lips were sensitive and tingly. Touching them brought rushes of gooey memories-his hands, and what they'd done in concert with his mouth-the crazy-making kisses, and the few words he'd spoken.  You're so beautiful. Note-This is a matureYA book. I wish I could tell you exactly how this book will make you feel. I wish I had words beautiful enough to describe it. I wish I knew more english words than I know now to detail just how the writing of the story got to me. I wish I could warn you of the many times my heart felt squeezed so tight I thought it might explode. I wish I had written down all my favorite passages but that would mean writing down the whole book again. I wish I could sit here and pretend to be able to sell you the book I think every single person out there needs to have. I wish upon the stars that I could be wherever Tammar...
