- goodreads - amazon - [... He is. He asked for you. And I know you're with my brother and I'm with child, but can we please just take a moment to silently admire the perfection that is that man?] (Before the review let me tell you a bit about my reading experience as a whole...Also, I kinda was too emotional so there's a bit of cursing *something I rarely do* so beware.) I've read a lot of books in my lifetime. Some were so bad for me I wish I'd had a lighter right there to erase all traces of it from my shelves. Others were so good I constantly struggled with my selfishness to keep the story all to myself and not let anyone read it while at the same time wanting to have tons of people to discuss said good book with. Then came the gems. The epic books. The books that changed something in me every time I turned that last page and sigh a little contented sigh of happiness or sorrow or sadness or any feeling that happened to be evoked by the end...

Stacking The Shelves  is hosted by  Tynga's Reviews . Where you can post all the books that you're adding to your shelves each week. Inspired by TST IMMs' posts After a year and a half it seems, I'm inspired enough to write about all my new books hehehe. I can't believe it! I'm slowly but surely coming back to blogging and it feels amazing!! Now for my books... I haven't been able to get ahold of much physical books lately but I've been one-clicking the hell of some others! I can't help myself, especially when eBooks deals are concerned. Here's a list of -most- of the books I've gotten this year. Hopefully next post will be all about weekly new additions if I'm blessed enough to get to buy new books weekly that is lol >_< The number of ->   show my rating on the book. Here's what will be stacking my shelves this week ************* Phyisical Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard  (Thank you NAT!!) ...

-BookPics is Curious- What Book Did You Just Finish?

Oh my gOd!! I've been kind of on some sort of reading roll... I've been all over the place yet in only one place. I've cried so hard because of books this past week but also smiled and screamed and teared up and melted and you know, your typical Alba while in the action or process of reading. And the books I've just recently finished reading have gotten me all worked up because of them that now that I'm off to start some new ones... The bar is kind of on a really really high scale. The masterpieces, the pure awesome art, the incredible delectable words and worlds I've read written by the talented and blessed authors... They have come and scrambled with my mind and my heart and seriously? Being honest, they've also messed with my rating and reviewing view... How can I continue rating wish such a simple rating system? When presented with THOSE books?! THOSE stories? I have no right and yet... That's what I've got. The ONLY thing that I'...

Goodreads Shortie: Following the unexpected death of her father, 18-year-old Layken is forced to be the rock for both her mother and younger brother. Outwardly, she appears resilient and tenacious, but inwardly, she's losing hope. My thoughts  If I could write pretty things... With pretty words... With pretty grammar... With pretty spelling... With pretty thoughts... With pretty smiles... With pretty tears... With pretty sads... With pretty happys... With pretty everything... I would. For this book... For the autor of this book. For the characters in this book and for all the people who made it possible. When I started this book I never thought I would like it as much as I did. I focused solely on the fact that a favorite author of mine recommended it and that was it. But now. My life has been, once again, turned, moved, affected, changed, rocked, shaked by the power of words. I can't possibly comprehend at this moment what it must be like to actually have a broken ...
