-review- Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor

Image
- Goodreads - "A dream dirty and bruised is better than no dream at all." I've read sad books... Believe me, I have. Books so sad they would keep me from reading another book for months, the sadness lingering long after I finished the book. But I've never quite read a book as sad as Days of Blood and Starlight. This book was so sad I wish they would've invented a new word solely to describe this book. Oh, there were amazing things as well but the sad predominated throughout the entirety of it. It was like a living thing that wouldn't go away even now that I've finished it. And surprisingly I'm okay with it, if only for the fact that I've always liked heartbreak in books just to better enjoy and take in the un-heartbreaking, just as the author would put it. I started this book expecting one thing but what I got was another thing completely and it blew my mind. I loved it so so so very much that I suffered even more for it. ...

-review- A Court of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Image
- Goodreads - "Don't feel bad for one moment about doing what brings you joy." Just as Feyre ... was that how it's spelled?? Mmmm But, just as she couldn't possibly imagine herself painting those colors, those courts, those eyes, that skin, that night, that water... I'll never be able to write a review that would make this book justice. What it made me feel, how far inside my mind it's been ingrained, how incredibly amazing the story and writing flowed, the way my heart constricted from pain or expanded from joy, how I cried or how I laughed, the sweet torture of not having the other books at the ready to devour, I truly truly never in my wildest bookish-dreams thought I'd like a book with kingdoms and magic involved as much as I liked this. So that's why I've been rendered completely speechless and thus wordless to even attempt a review. I savor red every single word I read. Really I did. I can't believe I waited so long...

-BookPics Is Curious- Traveling Books?

Image
So, I've been thinking. If you love, like, and can travel and are a booklover just like most of us, how do you pick which books are coming on the trip with you and which aren't. (Remember we're talking printed editions here since I know eBook readers are kind of on demand right now I still like to take with me one or 6 hehehe depending on the period of time I'm going to be away from home. Anyway, PRINTED books people ^_^ ) I'm a stinker for rereads. If there is one thing that keeps me from reading new books is the fact that I can't get over my book hangovers... Specially if it's a book that's the last in a series or if it's a standalone book or idk, I have tons of reasons why I read and read the same book over and over again and never get tired of it. So, if I love rereading books, how in the world am I expected to pick books to take with me for a long period of time away from home? Simple, I don't take them. Out of all the books t...

-BookPics Is Curious- Canada&USA ¿Seriously?

Image
I seriously seriously shouldn't even say I'm a blogger anymore!! It's been FOREVER since I posted and I feel awful. Not because I haven't posted but because I have so much to say and I haven't taken the time to actually write it down somewhere, anywhere. And then of course comes the part where I completely forgot about my blogoversary last month and this month as well so I might as well just cry in a corner for the rest of my life. I'm so so sorry -pets blog- my life has been completely and utterly hectic this year working on some paperwork and then moving and then moving again and traveling and dreaming and dreaming some more that I haven't even had the chance to read much which simply put, sucks. I miss blogging. I miss rambling on and on about silly things and not so silly things. I miss sharing with the world my thoughts on books I loved or didn't love that much, I miss stalking my favorite authors so much!! I miss stalking my favorite blog...

-Review- Crash Into You by Katie McGarry

Image
Goodreads shortie: From acclaimed author Katie McGarry comes an explosive new tale of a good girl with a reckless streak, a street-smart guy with nothing to lose, and a romance forged in the fast lane... Goodreads Amazon Book Depository First of all, my weaknesses ? Both were KIND of present in this book. One more than the other. The book tittle? It wasn't as if it was literally inside the book but it represents exactly what the whole book is about, the theme and most of the settings so I'll go with a big round 100% in love with the book tittle. The book cover? It somehow is a sort of scene in the book but at the same time it isn't... But I do love how it portrays the whole story in one sole picture so I'm going with heck yeah!  Both my weaknesses!! I love love love the book cover AND the tittle plus, please take a second or a day whichever suits you best, to admire the male model on the cover *O* My Thoughts? Rachel, oh dear dear Rachel, ...

-Cover Reveal + Giveaway- Sunrise by Mike Mullin (ohmyclouds!)

Image
You have NO idea, NO idea how freaking excited I am to be showcasing the book cover for the third book in the Ashfall trilogy!! These books have been mind blowing no matter how many times I've read them and the fact that there's an Alba in book #2 (Ashen Winter) was just the cherry on top. Seriously though, look at the pretty. It goes amazingly well with the previous book covers and of course is perfection when the tittle's involved... See the actual sunrise on the top left of the cover?? I couldn't be happier with the cover!!! Synopsis The Yellowstone supervolcano nearly wiped out the human race. Now, almost a year after the eruption, the survivors seem determined to finish the job. Communities wage war on each other, gangs of cannibals roam the countryside, and what little government survived the eruption has collapsed completely. The ham radio has gone silent. Sickness, cold, and starvation are the survivors' constant companions. ...

Welcome lovelies!! Today's my stop on the Gold blog tour and I couldn't be happier!! The very brave and magic main character, Brianna, is dropping by to answer some  a LOT  of questions. If you've no idea who I'm talking about well, lets just say you're really missing out. Silver was Talia Vance's debut book last year and it made my top 20 reads of 2012 what with how she brilliantly wrote about a certain Bandia  and let us not forget that she has made me fall over and over again with 2 different boys, plus she is so lucky in the book cover department!
