It's no secret that I love my sexy books but this one took sexy to whole new level. - Goodreads - (Read this February this year when I was in a Dark Romance kick) Still more dark romance. While there was no romance in this one I thoroughly enjoyed the writing and characters. I don't exactly know what it was about the author's writing style, story and character development but I can't complain. I was hooked since that first sentence. The one thing I will say is, this is definitely NOT a full-length novel, it reads more like a novella. Roughly 100 pages long from how quickly I finished it. I felt like things were just starting to happen when it ended and by the glimpses of reviews I've read on other sites I'll heed to the recommendation of buying the "book bundle" that has all novellas in it. Although it is really pushing the limits on the price scale since alone, the 100+ pages novellas are 3 bucks and the entire series which is 300+ is like 6 bucks.
