-review- Execution by Lucia Franco (Off Balance #2)

- goodreads - -SPOILERS MIGHT BE AHEAD- "You're missing out. My book is forbiddenish." Look... there’s not gentle way to say this. So I’ll just go ahead and say it like I feel it okay? Read this freaking book. I mean. Go ahead, buy the first one , devour it, then come here... get this and and slowly, gently... coax its words into your brain. Romantically let it engage you, let it lie to you. Let it wrap it’s thorn-ed fingers around you, your heart & mind, and consciously let it unhurriedly but surely start to squeeze... Feel the burn. Feel the hurt. Feel the pain. Feel the blood well up on your sides... Welcome the agony and the torture and the delicious interims that make you think everything is going just fine that everything will be just fine. And still, you’ll continue bleeding and hurting but it won’t matter because those thorns feel good and secure around you. And you won’t ever want them to let go. And when the ending comes and you’re about ...

-review- Eleventh Grave In Moonlight by Darynda Jones

- goodreads - (Spoiler Alert if you haven't read the previous books in the series) -"When Shawn went to you, a weak, corrupted slut––" "Slut?" "––we knew what we had to do." "I think slut is a tad strong." "See, you aren't just any corrupted. You are his corrupted. His concubine. The Dark One's. The demon from hell." "Promiscuous, maybe." She kneeled again. "We were never after you." "Wanton." "We were after the abomination..."- This book was so good... Until it wasn't... which was about the time it finished... Why would someone end a book in the way that this book ended is beyond me. I was happy! I was in my happy place with my happy ending if somewhat bittersweet but I WAS HAPPY! I was a happy person people!!!!!! And then Darynda just unceremoniously ripped out my heart, stomped on it, kicked it, and then proceeded to tear it apart... slowly... ...

-Review- Twice Tempted by Jeaniene Frost

Goodreads Shortie: (Might contain slight spoilers of book #1) Leila's psychic abilities have been failing her, and now she isn't sure what the future holds. If that weren't enough, her lover, Vlad, has been acting distant. Though Leila is a mere mortal, she's also a modern woman who refuses to accept the cold shoulder treatment forever–especially from the darkly handsome vampire who still won't admit that he loves her. **** My thoughts?? Oh, but what an amazing thing is NOT to wait a whole year for you to read a sequel of a book that you fell in love with and left you begging for more. I call my bluff since I pulled it off as long as I could until BOOM this book came into my life and I was FINALLY weak enough to give in and read the first one, Once Burned, so I could soon after read this one... The book starts exactly where the first one ended. And I was immediately swallowed up in the story as if I never waited a couple of hours to pick it up after ...

-Review- Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost

Goodreads Shortie: After a tragic accident scarred her body and destroyed her dreams, Leila never imagined that the worst was still to come: terrifying powers that let her channel electricity and learn a person's darkest secrets through a single touch. Leila is doomed to a life of solitude...until creatures of the night kidnap her, forcing her to reach out with a telepathic distress call to the world's most infamous vampire... Whenever I read something by Jeaniene Frost I KNOW I'm in for a sexy-thrilling AND completely dangerous ride. No matter the character, no matter the setting, nothing... Nothing matters when it comes to a book by her. I MUST get it, MUST own it, MUST read it and I know without a single doubt that I'll love it. She's just THAT talented and I'm THAT in love with not only her characters but her writing. She has magical fingers, this one ;) So when I found out she'd be writing a trilogy for the infamous Vlad Tepesh I think I faint...

~review +18~ Dark Awakening by Kendra Leigh Castle

"Ty," she said, "just don't let me go." I bought this book simply because of the cover. I saw it at the bookstore, saw the cover... Next thing I know...I owned it... But you know what made me read it like NOW? Kristina @ Kristina's World of Books I'm a stinker for hot-sexy men...but give me one that purrs... And I'm all his ~winkwink~ Ty was an amazing, though sometimes too blue, character. I loved the way he spoke. How loyal he was and still is to his own beliefs. Plus, he is a vampire AND shapeshifter...How awesome is THAT? And Lily. My dear Lily. I love her to death!! She is what I would call...the perfect soulmate for SOMEONE :D "I have impulse-control problems. Didn't I mention that?" Really though. The story revolves around the darkness that the vampire world is. Always dark...always moving, always unseeing and always, always dangerous. This take on vampires was so fresh and so well thought that I'm sure...
