-quick review- The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli

Image
- goodreads - "Asha.” He said her name like it was something exquisite and exasperating at the same time. What an amazing book this was. So magical so different and so fresh. The Last Namsara was such a quick yet immersing read. I found I couldn't didn't want to take a break from reading it, going as far as taking it with me to an overseas trip (with the obvious help of the kindle app.) I have to say though, I'm writing this months after I finished it but still the wonder of dragons, even better yet, dragons that collect stories like the girls who likes to provide them are still living on my mind, in my heart. The term Iskari somehow reminded me of Game Of Thrones if only because she's a girl and is secretly feared by many, being a fan of the TV series this became an instant favorite thing. So Death gave up and left her alone, thinking time itself would wear her away. The quick-paced developing of the story with pauses in all the right places, like ...

-review- Strange The Dreamer by Laini Taylor

Image
- goodreads - "She watched the squares of sunlight that her windows threw on the floor. They ought to have moved with the angle of the sun, but she was sure they were frozen in place. Of course today would be the day the sun got stuck in the sky. The gears of the heavens had gotten gummed up, and now it would be daytime forever." Wow you guys! WOW! Isn't it a dream come true? To be alive while Laini Taylor is and even more so that she's writing this in my time?Thank you God for this amazing thing. T.T I started this book really worried because I thought nothing could ever live up to Daughter of Smoke & Bone and all the things that said trilogy made me feel. I'm glad I was wrong. This book has Laini Taylor written all over it-from the astonishing and delicious writing to the incredible and epic world-building, from the names that sound perfect for the characters in the story to the adventure and magic it made me get lost in. ...

-review- A Season of Eden by Jennifer Laurens

Image
-"Don't you have a boyfriend?" I shook my head, fingering my bag. "That surprises me," he said. "Because I seem like a girl that would have a guy around?" I finished. "No." He started toward the light switch and I followed. "In my experience, the beautiful girls are always taken."- WOW! just WOW-makes the wow face- This book people, this book is just a complete season on it's own, it isn't fall or winter, nor summer or spring it's a whole other season concept and one I might forever be in love with and forever be waiting to happen in my life or at least in my country's weather ;) Jennifer Laurens you made this book a complete piece of art for me. Since the beginning of the book I felt all warm inside; predicting that I was in for a h*** of a book. Eden was/is/will be one of my favorite characters and one very very real character. Since she sets her eyes on Mr.Christian she suddenly has a thing for all thi...

~review~ The Girl Next Door by Selene Castrovilla

Image
~”Death can never rob us of the love we give away”~ If that first quote there doesn’t strike to your heart and doesn’t even twitch your heart then nothing ever will… Grace girl! again can’t thank you enough for encouraging me to read this book. And just so you know… this is the second book of Selene I read AND a signed one so…yeap I’m in heaven allright! I read earlier in another book how someone thought how it was so much better to feel angry, anger, resentment, etc. Instead of sadness and pain. Well I agreed while reading that other book…but yet again Selene managed to strike right through all my shields and barriers and went to the heart and soul. Samantha isn’t just another YA character out there… is a girl that can be very well any of ous out here in the real world with the real problems and the real tears beeing shed for real best friends that are slipping through our fingers and taken away from us by any kind of sikness… this book right here… is real, raw, sad, and cruel. Never...

~Tiny Review~ Blood Promise by Richelle Mead

Image
~"You forgot my first lesson: Don't hesitate."~   Far away from home, having chosen love for friendship...if in Shadow Kiss I said Rose was strong in this book she's completely the opposite. We finally see her crack under that strong facade of hers. Now she meeets blond/tattoo/formal Sydney, discovering a whole new side of the vampire world she didn't know. Looking for someone to keep a promise and at the same time being chased by some unknown person, AND watching how she's loosing her best friend and possibly her home...can prove to be challenging. Awesome new characters that takes us deeper into spirit element and its uses and others that prove to be kind of scary... Will she be able to accomplish her goal before getting killed? OR Will she give up life as she knows it, feeling she no longer has a place to go, and let some special one AWAKEN her? With an ending that took my breath away... 5/5

~ "We can't..." he told me. "I know," I agreed. Then his mouth was on mine again... ~ 3rd book! I'm sad and hate to tell you I almost gave up on this book, almost. The start for me was sooooooooo slow I really had to drag my eyes while reading again, almost, the first 100 pages and believe me that is NOT good for me!Until finally, finally! BOOM!!! things I didn't expect started happpening and well, there really isn't much more to say than after that I couldn't put it down. Rose Hathaway seems to prove once again how strong a character she is, not just physically but emotionally as well. In the mean time, new powers are discovered, lust is unleashed(at last), new loves arrive, threats to destroy morois as well as dhampirs over at the school appear, and the promises of better and possible futures are just THIS CLOSE TO BELIEVE. With graduation just around the corner, tragedy strikes at St.Vladimir's and this time maybe not even Rose...

~Review~ Tiger's Curse

Image
~He then put both hands on the door on either side of my head and leaned in close, pinning me against it. I trembled like a downy rabbit caught in the clutches of a wolf. The wolf came closer. He bent his head and began nuzzling my cheek. The problem was…I wanted the wolf to devour me.~ Even though I loved the book, sometimes I felt that the author didn't want to leave anything out from it and tried to squeeze into the book as much information as possible. I often found myself confused and overwhelmed with all the in-between stories, theories, legends, info, beliefs, gods, goddesses, and tiny little details she put on whenever she could. Kells, sometimes...really just sometimes acted too immature for her age...but still is not just bad stuff. I loved the change of setting the author chose for her book, the back story of Kells, isn't what I expected. And even if the story did develop kind of slowly...I liked the last third of the book just right...(haven't been able t...

Hope you enjoy the interview and leave your thoughts on the comments section Thanks Tabitha for stopping by BookPics! hope you enjoy ;) BP: First and foremost, when or how did you find out you wanted to become a writer? I was six years old when I declared to my mother I would become a writer when I grew up. Then I stuck a picture on the cover of an exercise book and started writing a story about a blind boy. I absolutely loved reading and I wanted to be able to create my own stories. BP: Now, I really have to tell you WOW, what an amazing book you wrote. I couldn’t keep away from it, even if it meant crying and suffering, but I was wondering how did you come up with the tittle FORBIDDEN? How did you no...
