I tried to take it slow with this book...what with me really not liking Burned... but seriously people...when will they get rid of Neferet...it just seems that they can't come up with any other enemy or such...that's the only bad thing I found in the book. Now for the pros from the book... I was FREAKING OUT, and apparently I really didn't like it haha.] GOD!! my eyes almost burn out trying to get through this whole book... I give it...3 stars (out of 5) too much going around and around in circles...TOO MUCH POVS!! I can handle 2 just fine...but seriously...I lost count of how many people get to tell the story on this book!! the 3 stars are because...and only because REPHAIM & STEVIE RAE'S new..."thing"... The human part of Rephaim drew me sooo much that I'm sooo going to read the next book... but it doesn't make this book any less boring...I really can't believe this is like the first time I've actually finished a book I really started to find boring by the 2nd chapter...but I felt I had to keep an eye on Zoe's whole life...as well as Rephaim's!!! [Non edited] To make it short...it starts with Zoe's life full of bullpoop~as she'll call it~ she goes from having an amazing group of friends that are like family to her, a place wher she feels she belongs,TO---being COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY ALONE...her friends don't trust her anymore therefore she doesn't feel like home and from having 3 exquisit boyfriends(and no...she still doesn't believe she's a ho...even if she's considering it...she's no way acceptin' it...please, just please!) to having NONE!!! So yeah her life stinks...and she has to find a way to get them to trust her again...or guess it... yeap...all hell will break lose if she doesn't...and if she's left all alone...her own life might be in danger...so...again...her strength...her love for her new life and fam! is what get's her going! add that that her old bff is back...and you got yourself another awesome book!!! couldn't get enough of it... notice that I try to not ...

Heath is way head over heals for Zoe...not that she complains but doesn't help with the Erik situation... Loren just happened to take the only good thing left from her... Her new bff might just be who was not so long ago her swore-to-death-worst-enemy-ever! She lies so much...she can't believe it and EVEN WITH SO MUCH GOING ON with her...she still manages to stay focused on what Nyx asks for her... [Non edited] Zoe is head of the dark daughters...has a hot-hot-hot boyfriend or at least she thinks, well whatever...point is....she is literally heartbroken when death strikes right in her new found fam!(friends) and that's the part where I cried my eyes out! literally!! (the ugly crying, not clean at all...repeating...not pretty) so there's where I thought! jeeez!! this is a really good book! plus story is definitely nice done... again...she has to face the fact that she is different...and has to see it in a good way...has to trust people not-in-a-lifetime-would-ever-thought-of-trusting-ever! and giving up on trusting the ones or one she thought could trust with all her might! [Non edited] Was a really fun even though a little slow book! liked A LOT Zoe's story by her pov! and the different twist that in this book nobody freaks out when the word "vampire" is said!(well at least not cuz for the same reasons) Zoe is marked and therefore has to move in the house of night...a school for fledlings(somewhere between vamp/human) and has to say bye to everything human, her almost-boy friend and her "best friend" In a world where vampires are known to exist but not trated less weird cuz of it...Zoe needs to find a place in this new world to fit in... But sutff starts to happen...Erik appears...Aphroditte..and a whole lot characters that will sure win your heart... Zoe'll see herself, that she's unique...and how are u supposed to fit in...when you're a Freak among Freaks? haha...loved it!!! I give this book 5fotitos= ~Sobs hard~Too good to be true!
