Bookography #3

Image
Bookography is a post created by Kristina from Kristina's World of Books. Where you can combine both of my very favorite things in the world. Photography & Books ;) So grab a camera and do your thing. You don't have to be a professional or anything like that. Just share your love of books through a picture and that's it ;) -She usually posts them on wednesdays~ So make sure you stop by her blog and share the love!

This is my picture for this week:
-...the world, the city, and all its lights and life seemed to have narrowed down to this, just her and Jace, the burning heart of a frozen world.-
City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

I think the quote says everything. I took this picture last year while the lights had gone out at my house due to a storm, couldn't be any happier with the shot. I slightly edited it, it was all in the contrast and the mate frame which I changed to orange.

IMM is hosted by The Story Siren I looove love her blog!  So you really should check it out!
This week I only got one thing in the mail and it was NOT a book but it's still book-related so I obviously had to share it.
~giggles~ Isn't it cute >.< it was a surprise to receive it. I knew it had been made but didn't know it had been sent. Hence me getting all teary over it. Thank you SO VERY MUCH Autum! I completely love it. It's the very first ANYTHING that has the name of my blog on it. You have outdone yourself. I'm too happy for words so I'll just say thank you!
I haven't gotten ANY book since the last week of January...but I've been told there's a package waiting for me at my grams so I'm going to feature that one next week as I haven't been able to pick it up. Now on to...

30 Days of Hunger Games-Day 2

Image
Hey beautiful people.
Me again joining this fun thing Elena comes up with...either by her joining another one ~like with Bloodlines~ or her doing it ~like this one.~ Anyway. She's having this amazing 30 days of Hunger Games as a count down AND a way to have fun and kill time while all of us wait-impatiently-for the movie to come out. How's that sound?

For day 2 she's doing her OWN Hunger Games, without the killing or the arena or well...all the gore and ugly. And of COURSE she's giving away awesome things that I'd DIE to have too-all the pictures in the post are things she's giving away-Don't miss the chance!

Head over Elena's blog  ---->A World of Words<---- -link will lead you directly to the contest entry- And follow the steps ^-^ nice and easy.

PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THE STEPS!!
-hint, comment on this post to get an entry- You really don't want to miss in all the fun Have fun!

Hi guys! And welcome to:
My Reading Pile #4
My reading pile is an idea created by Fiktshunin which you share what your reads for the week are or well the wishful reads-rereads-rerereads and well you get the hint. Check her blog out you know I'm a devoted stalker, I mean, follower ;)
Since I haven't been getting anything in the mail the last 3 weeks I've been slaking and not making MRP posts but that's over now hehehe. Check out what I'll be reading this week, hopefully.
The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney -I am beyond HAPPY to be reading this book, I've been stalking the author non-stop since such a long time ago it feels like forever! YES I've stalked her WITHOUT reading her book but I seriously couldn't help myself she's so much fun and happy and good! After all, she was the person from whom I won a SIGNED copy of Where She Went by Gayle Forman.  Daisy has known for a long time now how difficult it is for me to get books and one day of January while she w…

-reread thoughts- My Soul To Take by Rachel Vincent

Image
This is the very first time for me doing a kind of review for a reread of a book.

When I found out that Fiktshun was having a reading challenge for none other than the Soul Screamers series I just HAD to sign up. I've never participated on a reading challenge before but THIS right here was one of the 2 perfect opportunities that presented themselves to me this year.

(You can still sign up for the challenge by clicking on the left sidebar button.)

~Sighs~
Where to begin? Hehe don't worry this won't be a long rant.
This is, I think, my 7nth time rereading this books...ever since I found them randomly on YA-books list on Scribd I knew I had to have them. The books mean a lot to me since I read them before I became a reviewer ^_^ and I still hold them close to my heart.

Rereading this yet again helped me remember why I fell in love with the story and it's characters in the first place.
Why I always have and always will be a huge admirer of the heroine that is Kaylee. This is a b…

Hello sexy!
Of course I HAD to post a picture about one of my favorite series EVER to exist!
This picture is also an old one...
I took it while doing one of my rereads of the Soul Screamers books.
I just randomly took it and then made a few tiny editions with the color contrast >.< That's it!

So now I present you my recently re-discovered picture.

I've loved this book for so long now. But mostly. I love love and love this exact excerpt. I was completely overwhelmed with this urge to write it down and paint it all kinds of colors trying to make a touchable memory…
