Unbreak Me by Lexi Ryan
Publication date: May 27th, 2013
Genre: New Adult Romance

*** “If you’re broken, I’ll fix you…”

I’m only twenty-one and already damaged goods. A slut. A failure. A disappointment to my picture-perfect family as long as I can remember. I called off my wedding to William Bailey, the only man who thought I was worth fixing. A year later, he’s marrying my sister. Unless I ask him not to…

“If you shatter, I’ll find you…”

But now there’s Asher Logan, a broken man who sees the fractures in my façade and doesn’t want to fix me at all. Asher wants me to stop hiding, to stop pretending. Asher wants to break down my walls. But that means letting him see my ugly secrets and forgiving him for his.

With my past weighing down on me, do I want the man who holds me together or the man who gives me permission to break? ***

Stalk the author!

I have to say, while I do love the book cover and HELLO SEXINESS!?!!
I think it's time to change the "trend" for NA books' covers to ones with a bit more of color? I've seen this theme a LOT lately for that genre, black & white with colored font -red mostly-

But all in all, a pretty nice cover.

Can't wait for the book!!

-Review- Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost

Goodreads Shortie:
After a tragic accident scarred her body and destroyed her dreams, Leila never imagined that the worst was still to come: terrifying powers that let her channel electricity and learn a person's darkest secrets through a single touch. Leila is doomed to a life of solitude...until creatures of the night kidnap her, forcing her to reach out with a telepathic distress call to the world's most infamous vampire...

Whenever I read something by Jeaniene Frost I KNOW I'm in for a sexy-thrilling AND completely dangerous ride. No matter the character, no matter the setting, nothing... Nothing matters when it comes to a book by her. I MUST get it, MUST own it, MUST read it and I know without a single doubt that I'll love it.
She's just THAT talented and I'm THAT in love with not only her characters but her writing. She has magical fingers, this one ;)

So when I found out she'd be writing a trilogy for the infamous Vlad Tepesh I think I fainted while being in shock all at the same time. And I know it's been over a year since the first book came out but well... Life can be like that when you're international and at THAt time THIS miracle had yet to happen :D

My thoughts??

Where to begin? From my shock of the book not being told from Vlad's POV or from the instant fascination I had with Leila?!
We've never read anything by this author in which the character already knows about her/his abilities and is so comfortable with them. But wow! This book right here was the PERFECT way to start that trend.

Leila is not only a really fierce, beautiful, powerful and stubborn character but also vulnerable, a woman WITH feelings, and still so very very human. Add to that the fact that now her powers aren't as secret anymore and you got a lot of people, from the non-human variety, chasing after her.

-"No apologies are adequate for my leaving you in danger... nor can I ever thank you enough for saving my life."-

That's when the love of my heart, I mean, that's where Vlad comes in. And BOY what an entrance. He couldn't be introduced with a "Hi, I'm Vladislav" and a friendly shake of the hand. Noooo, he had to be introduced in a unique way, a way that only Vlad knew how to exploit to it's maximum and had me already begging for more of him!!!

They meet in the strangest of ways, her as a hostage and him as a target to a thread she had previously followed and connected with. He feels invaded while she realizes he's the only way out&safe from her captors.

From then, it was an amazing journey. I was so very very excited to have seen more of Vlad. To see that he's not only just as scary, ruthless and powerful as Cat and Bones and Mencheres made him to be in the Night Huntress series, but also as faithful, loyal, and protective of his people. You do NOT want to mess with him. Trust me.

-The sound that came from me was almost animalistic. That was how he made me feel---feral, uninhibited---and as heat slid down my arm to slowly spread through the rest of me, those feelings grew.-

And the best part is that Leila plays a huge roll in the waking-up of long forgotten feelings inside Vlad's heart and mind.

All the characters, I loved. Maximus, Shrapnel, Cat, Bones, Mencheres... Every single one of them added to the story and made it what it now is. Perfect O_O

While searching for their enemy and staying safe. Leila grows stronger not only physically but emotionally. And then... there's no going back.

She was warned, he warned her and he was straight on with what he could and couldn't offer her but Leila won't settle just for a few crumbles, she wants the whole deal. If only Vlad could see that -sigh-

The love scenes are too hot for the fainthearted... I mean that.

-I walked the last few paces that separated us, taking his hand and not flinching at the stains that coated it.
"You're in my skin," I said. "The day before, you'd traced my mouth with your hand and almost kissed me..."-

And my weaknesses?
Book tittle while not IN the book is still what the whole story is in two words and the book cover?!!! HOTNESS INCARNATE is suddenly an understatement. *O*

It's exhilarating, exciting, hot, sexy, smokey, cinnamon-y, woods-y, hot again, sexy again, dangerous, electrical and oh so very very... NOT going there.

Another Jeaniene Frost book you CANNOT miss out on reading!
If you're still waiting I tell you... You'll regret every second of that wait... Each and every single one.

I give this book,

5= Clouds In The Heavens READ IT!

Hotness Rating,

-"We are all more than the sum of our sins," he said in an even voice. "You know that better than most people, Leila."-

-Review- Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick

Goodreads Shortie:
Will love conquer all?

Nora and Patch thought their troubles were behind them. Hank is gone and they should be able to put his ugly vendetta to rest. But in Hank's absence, Nora has become the unwitting head of the Nephilim and must finish what Hank began. Which ultimately means destroying the fallen angels - destroying Patch.

Nora will never let that happen, so she and Patch make a plan: lead everyone to believe they have broken up, and work the system from the inside.

My Thoughts?

As if Crescendo wasn't enough of a tearjerker for me... Silence came to ruin the happy ending and my giddy feelings... and then of COURSE things had to end like THAT on Silence so we could have the freaking roller-coaster that this book is.

-Patch placed his hand in mine, gripping it tightly. "Quite the opposite, Blythe. Your daughter means everything to me. Completely and wholly. I love her---it's as simple as that."-

There is no other way to describe it!!
It's a roller-coaster!! I was all over the place. I wanted to slap!! YES!! Slap some sense into Nora while others I wanted to Kiss Scott so hard his lips would bruise<- SUE ME -_-
And of course, there were others that I wanted to kidnap Patch just so I could have him all by myself, not that I didn't do it but it would be bad to admit to that and even worse if I still hadn't released him but that's a story for... Never, never actually, because of all the lies...

Lies you guys, I think, was the thing in which this whole book revolved around. There were so many lies, so many half-truths that you had to stop a second and wonder if there ever was truth there in the first place...

-Vee tapped her chin contemplatively. "I knew Patch was way too hard-core to be human."-

The game was well played, meaning the plot. While it developed somewhat slow I wouldn't have had it any other way. Dante ¬__________¬

Patch was, as always, simply perfect though I have to say that we see less of him in this book than we have in the previous books.

I also love how incredible Nora's development not only as a character but the growth she has a girl/person. She grows up incredibly, sure she makes this HORRIBLE and completely NOT NECESSARY mistakes that I could have lived without through the whole book... But who cares?! Specially now that my heart has been broken multiple times by the same author using no other weapons than words and her characters.

-I sniffled, wiping my nose on the back of my hand. "I'm scared, Vee. So very scared."-

Vee was Vee and I loved every single scene in which I could get a glimpse of her awesome and hilarious personality, seriously, this girl can make a whole war feel like it's just a bear hug.

Scenery. Absolutely believable.

I really don't know what else to add to this. I'm pretty sure I reached another stage of sadness at some point due to some really really -to me- unnecessary um... Lets just say, situations that could have been prevented.

Poor Vee :(
Again, wish I could have a friend just like Vee. She's still one of my all-time favorite BFF/sidekick, call it what you want, characters in the whole YA genre. I need a Vee in my life :)

-"My hand," --- said, low. "My hand is---"-
My weaknesses!!
Book cover... I think it represents quite a bit what the whole book is about and the tittle? While it isn't exactly in the book I still think the story lives up to it perfectly.

I am saddened to say goodbye to one of the series that I started reading before I became a blogger, to Patch that is my ultimate favorite fallen angel, to Nora, one of the strongest and bravest female main characters I've ever read, to Vee that made me believe that true friendships still exists somewhere out there... To every single character that made this whole saga possible. I'm sad to say goodbye. But oh so very very happy and lucky to have met you.

I can assure you I'll be rereading this series for as long as I live ;)

I give this book

10special-fotitos(special rating for over-the-top-I'll-never-get-over-this book) =

I cried for things I didn't know possible I was capable of.

Goodreads - Amazon - Book Depository

And just because I can... I'll leave you with yet another fave passage of mine ;)

-There was another worrisome thought scratching at the back of my mind. How long could Patch and I live a lie... and not let it become the truth?-

-Blog Tour Stop, Review- In a Heartbeat by Teodora Kostova

Excited, excited, excited for my stop on this blog tour!
I read the book as soon as I got my digital copy and boy what a surprise!
Anyway, I'm just about to share my thoughts on it ;)
Check it out and don't miss all the OTHER STOPS

*** Stella

“I’ve been in and out of hospitals for the past ten months. I’ve had half my liver removed and even though this time the doctors are very optimistic that they’ve removed all of the tumours, they can’t be sure. In another three months they want me here again for a check up. Right now I feel better than I’ve ever felt. I know the damn thing is gone, at least for the moment. Despite that, I can’t make any plans for the future, not yet. I need to go somewhere where nobody knows me, where I can relax and maybe even forget about all this. Where I can meet people who don’t think of me as the girl who lost her father and her brother in a car accident, and who has cancer. I want to have fun, even if it’s for a couple of months.”

When Stella decides to visit her estranged cousin Lisa in Genoa, she has no idea Italy will give her a new reason to live.

“Her gaze locked on a scene so beautiful, the picturesque beach paled in comparison. A lifeguard emerged from the water, his orange trunks stuck to his legs and water dripping all over him. He shook his head to get rid of some of the water in his hair and Stella felt as if everything started developing in slow motion – tiny drops of water slid from his neck down his broad chest and muscular arms, along a weaving tattoo on his right shoulder, and continued downwards towards his chest and washboard stomach, finally getting lost in the waistband of his trunks. A part of another tattoo peeked over his trunks on his left hip, the other part hidden under them. It was a total Baywatch moment.”

Their love is epic. But there are too many things keeping them apart.

“How could you keep this from me, Lisa? If you had told me the first day I met him, I would have avoided him like the plague. Nothing would have happened between us.”
“I kept your secrets, too, Stella.”

Are Max and Stella strong enough to fight not only for their love, but for their lives? ***

My Thoughts?

I never tire to fall in love with books, with their characters, with the authors' writing... Everything.

When I picked up this book and read those first pages I knew I was in for a ride, a torturous, sad yet magical ride.

I love that the book had 2 POVs, I always have enjoyed contemporary books that are told from both the main character plus another one. It doesn't necessarily have to be the love interest, a best friend, a mother... Any can do as long as I get a double insight which means double the awesome.

The main character Stella, while not as relatable to me, I think a lot of girls out there will be able to make the connection sooner and definitely so much more deeply than I did since I've never had to go through what she has... But she was likable in a way that made me ache for her, trust her, believe her, and root for her.

-"I fight that fear every single day, because I don't want to spend my life not actually living it, but being afraid of it..."-

Stella was forced to grow up too soon, forced to suffer through things that no normal teenager has to suffer, see things that no girl her age is supposed to see but above all else she is forced to not get attached to anyone, not a single new person.
And that's not because she's a lonely person or a secluded one, on the contrary I felt she wanted to see so much more, wanted to be so much more, to become someone... But... Sometimes life isn't what we think it to be and fate always plays us some cruel jokes... and this time... Stella is the punch line.

Having her illness, I can feel why most people give up, why most simply stop fighting. Because there is so much more than just the sick person, the medics, the medicines and a clinic... There's the family, the friends, the boy/man...

And Max, what an incredible surprise to a ladies man! First of all... his looks are yummy... But it's his personality that Stella and I fell for instantly. He's real, he's not afraid to show a vulnerable side, he's not shy, and he fights... Not only the physical punch-you-bye-bye though there is that... But the emotional one, the one that involves fighting and keep going and keep rooting when the person next to you, the person you care for has given up, thrown the towel... Just, stopped.

-She looked hotter than the deepest fire pit in hell.-

But he was so much more than that.

They were both fun! Both amazing! And all the other secondary characters? TO DIE FOR!!! Specially these other 2... That if I'm right... will get their own story soon -fangirls-

Lisa, Nikki... Even Stella's brother and father and mother... But... There were 2...
That really? See, 1. Gia X_X I liked her even though she doesn't have that much protagonism in the book I still felt she played a HUGE part in certain things that at the end? Led up to that awesome ending... 2. Beppe, -stunned silence-

Yeap, when a character by name alone can stun you into silence, for me? That's as good as it gets.

All in all, I loved the change of scenery, I loved to be able to travel -whereas by imagination- to Europe, to Italy... To those gorgeous places all while sitting right at home.

And I feel ever so grateful to the author for not sugar-coating anything but also giving me what I most desired for these 2. Because, real life is already too hard to deal reading about it right? But these kinds of stories, these types of characters, these kinds of friends... Everything was completely perfect, utterly perfect. I wouldn't have done it any other way.

-Wasting precious moments and over-thinking every single step was a massive waste of time.-

While at some points I thought the book was dragging things too much... When I got to a certain scene? All those thoughts went out and through the window. Making me feel all warm inside while I was crying all at the same time.

And my weaknesses! The cover is good but for me, I've seen way too many covers with the same theme, same look, same colors... I still like it though, It doesn't exactly portray what the whole book is about. And my second weakness, the book tittle?!! PERFECT doesn't even begin to cover it. It's in the book as much as it is on it! Enough said.

A read that will break your heart, open your eyes, bring tears to said eyes, make you blush, make you scream, make you tear some hairs out... All while patching you heart safe back again, making you smile like a silly person, make you hot and bothered, make you appreciate and see life in a completely different way, and make you realize that...

Is better to:

-Don't exist. Live.-

A book that'll stick with me for a long while... Opened my eyes, and even shook some sense into me,

I give this book;

Author Bio

Hi, my name is Teodora and I live in London with my husband Ted and my son Jason. I've been writing ever since I can remember, but it became my full time job in 2010 when I decided that everything else I've tried bores me to death and I have to do what I've always wanted to do, but never had to guts to fully embrace. I've been a journalist, an editor, a personal assistant and an interior designer among other things, but as soon as the novelty of the new, exciting job wears off, I always go back to writing. Being twitchy, impatient, loud and hasty are not qualities that help a writer, because I have to sit alone, preferably still, and write for most of the day, but I absolutely love it. It's the only time that I'm truly at peace and the only thing I can do for more than ten minutes at a time - my son has a bigger attention span than me.
When I'm procrastinating, I like to go to the gym, cook Italian meals (and eat them), read, listen to rock music, watch indie movies and True Blood re-runs. Or, in the worst case scenario, get beaten at every Wii game by a five year old.

-Cover Reveal- Touching Melody by RaShelle Workman

Touching Melody by RaShelle Workman
Series: Forever First #1
Publication date: June 2013
Genre: New Adult Contemporary

Maddie Martin's first weekend at college is nothing like she's used to. It's wild, like the wilderness on which the University of Bellam Springs sits. Roped into going to a frat party, she literally runs into Kyle Hadley. The boy she's loved since she was nine. The boy she promised all of her firsts to. But that was before his father killed her parents.

Determined to stay away from him, she throws herself into her music. Practicing piano eases her heavy heart, calms the sadness, and pushes away images of Kyle's face.

Until it doesn't.

Her music professor asks her to play a duet for their annual Graduation Gala. Doing so means she'll be assured another full ride scholarship. It's an opportunity she can't pass up.

But Kyle is the other half of the duet. And that means hours and hours of practicing.

Days and months of seclusion - just the two of them. And it's more than just music. It's passion like Maddie never believed was possible.

The inevitable happens. She falls in love with him all over again.

But, will loving him be enough to erase all the hate in her heart for his father? Can she look at him, and not see the evil in his family tree?

And maybe it's all a set up. Maybe Kyle is only pretending to care so he can finish what his father started, and kill her too.

I really really appreciate the fact that this is a New Adult AND that it has COLOR all over it! While it might be a bit too bright I'm just so glad all the cover has color as opposed to most NA covers lately...

What about you?
Likey? No likey??

-I really don't know if anyone else does it as I do but I'm not trying to steal any other ideas out there-
In which I tell you what new book covers I'm completely in love with, pinning for, drooling over, tearing-up over, going all OH CLOUD! on and all the other AMAZING-FANTASTIC-AWESOME-BOOKPIC-LY verbs and adjectives and adverbs you can think of that just simply aren't enough to describe how I feel towards said covers so,
I just go ahead and OBSESS over them :D

AND!! Here I am with more covers...
Seriously I'm dying here but well...
Enjoy my demise will ya?!

-The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa (The Iron Fey: Call Of The Forgotten #2)
I've yet to read the first book but if there was ANY reason as for why I haven't picked it up just yet it has immediately vanished after looking at this book cover!
Drool-worthy much?!

-Illusion by Sherrilyn Kenyon (Chronicles of Nick #5)
I can't believe I've yet to read these books but I plan on remedying that ASAP!
I love how great all the book covers go along with each other! Since lately a lot of publishers have like gone out of their way to drive me mad about book covers being changed in between publishing series I'm really happy this series hasn't been tainted by that.

-Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas (Throne of Glass #2)
This looks bada**!! Seriously!!
Though it came to my attention that it doesn't actually go with the Hardback edition of the first book, which is a bummer. I also really dislike when they do this. I can barely afford to buy hardbacks when I love love the book covers let alone to get the paperback to make it match with this one :( So sad about that... Thank GOD I don't own the first of this one...

-Scorched by Mari Mancusi
I'm completely and incredibly excited about this book!! Not only it is written by one of my fave authors!! But also... LOOK AT THIS COVER!! I love love love it!
I don't think I've ever read a book involving dragons before and this book cover right here makes me regret that so bad!!

I rambled too much but I'm completely head-over-heels in love and completely obsessed with all these book covers!!

-Blog Tour Stop, Excerpt + Giveaway- Surface by Tiffany Daune

Hi you guys!

Today's my stop on the Surface blog tour and I'm so excited to be sharing with you an excerpt of the book!!!

See if it gets you hooked up as it did me!!

Here it goes,

And don't forget the giveaway!!!!!

Surface by Tiffany Daune
Publication: February, 2013
Genre: YA Paranormal

Bound to the water bound to land, a Siren’s soul will never be safe on either side of the ocean’s surface. Hidden beneath the rolling waves lies the secret to Theia’s past and as she unveils each haunting truth, she realizes the last seventeen years of her life have been a lie. Now, drawn into a mysterious new world and with nowhere to turn, Theia must place her trust in Luc, a beautiful boy who stops her heart with each dazzling smile, but even his unearthly charm can’t hide the truth—he has secrets— dark secrets binding him to his world—an underwater world where Theia will never belong—a world determined to destroy her soul.

Tears streamed down the girl's cheeks. She pounded her knees into Dumas's back, struggling to free herself. Dumas reached for his bag, yanking it closer, and pulled out a black hood. Cradling her neck, he slipped the hood over her head. She tried once more to jab him in the back with her knee, but, as the hood enveloped her face, she gave in to the darkness surrounding her, and her body fell limp.

Dumas turned to Oliver, but the boy was bent over, his chest heaving for air. Dumas shook his head, his lips pursed. He didn't have time for this right now. He needed to get the girl out of the house. With one arm, he dragged the girl to her feet and guided her down the hall while Oliver stumbled behind them like a newly resurrected zombie.

Downstairs, Dumas found Fiona pacing the kitchen, her black soles scuffing the tiled floors.

"What happened up there?" Fiona's gaze shifted to Oliver. "What's wrong with him?"

Dumas handed the girl to Fiona. "Take her to the van."

He tossed the keys to Oliver who grabbed them. Facing Dumas with hollow eyes, he awaited further instructions.

Dumas sighed. "Follow Fiona. You can hold the girl in the back of the van."

Oliver ran after Fiona, his feet shuffling through the fallen leaves. Dumas rolled his eyes—next time, he would leave Oliver behind.

Dumas knelt to wipe the floor clean. A little dirt wouldn't matter when he had already created such a big mess, but the simple action grounded his thoughts. He stood up, resting his gaze on the collection of photos pinned to the refrigerator, a museum of shared memories. A small picture of the girl's mother standing beside a handsome young man with golden hair and piercing sea green eyes stared back at him. The man's gaze haunted Dumas, filling him with unwanted memories, too painful to remember, and forcing him to look away.

Dumas sighed as he removed a crumpled envelope from his pocket. He held the letter tight for a moment before placing it on the table. He traced the scrawled name with his finger—Sophia. He hated leaving her this letter. She had already lost so much. Dumas hoped she would understand, but already he was pulling at stitches—opening a wound so deep nothing could stanch the bleeding. With a heavy heart, he closed the door and headed into the emptiness of the night.

About the author,

Tiffany Daune doesn't get why people want to grow up or why anyone would ever stop eating candy. Her purse is filled with books, lip gloss and a few pieces of Lego bricks. She writes best with a dish of chocolate chips on hand and finds licorice makes a better straw than plastic.
She lives on an island and believes mermaids may be raiding her candy stash, thoughshe hasn't caught them, yet.
Surface is her first novel and pairs well with gummy sharks.

-BookPics is Curious- Hectic ¿?

Hey guys!!

So sorry I haven't been posting regularly or as regularly as I've always done...

Sorry sorry!

I'm in the middle of a somewhat family crisis... Nothing to do with family but with health...

I've been all over the place... Hospitals, banks, resting, hospitals again, dealing with family out of the country freaking out... It's kind of hectic... The worst part is that I'm still recovering from my surgery this past week and since I'm the oldest sibling you can only imagine (if you're a firstborn you'll understand me) what chaos I'm kind of going through right now.

Hopefully though everything will, somewhat, go back to normal this weekend but who the freak knows!?

My arm hurts, itches, and burns all at the same time, I still can't drive, I'm still recovering from my gastritis attack just this past week and I'm freaking out about what to eat every other hour. And now we have to deal with another sick person in the family.

Nope, this hasn't been my week, month OR year for that matter. I'm just happy books have been here keeping me company while I try not to have a full-on panic attack... Or something between those lines.

I hope tomorrow I'll have time to post my thoughts on Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick because that book seriously rocked my world. And then some other reviews here and there plus sending some emails...

Oh god, this month can't be over soon enough...

In the meantime I'm still waiting for my copy of Lover At Last to arrive so I had planned on keeping as far away from favorite authors reads as possible... I KIND of have pulled it off...

But now I got approved for certain NA tittle on Netgalley and I nearly devoured it the minute I had the chance to sit down and relax some in the hospital room.

Okay, I'm going now.

Wish me luck and KEEP READING!!!
Blog tour stop coming later on and it has an INTERNATIONAL giveaway going on!!! Don't miss out on that!

[Sorry if there are any grammar, spelling or other horrors I didn't proofread a THING here]
Miss you all!

-Blog Tour Stop, Review + Giveaway- Moonset by Scott Tracey

I'm so freaking ecstatic to have been given a stop on the blog tour for Scott Tracey's Moonset!!!
I'll be sharing my rambling thoughts and a giveaway at the end... so...
Lets get to it.

About the Book

MOONSET (Legacy of Moonset #1)

*** Moonset, a coven of such promise . . . Until they turned to the darkness.

After the terrorist witch coven known as Moonset was destroyed fifteen years ago—during a secret war against the witch Congress—five children were left behind, saddled with a legacy of darkness. Sixteen-year-old Justin Daggett, son of a powerful Moonset warlock, has been raised alongside the other orphans by the witch Congress, who fear the children will one day continue the destruction their parents started.

A deadly assault by a wraith, claiming to work for Moonset’s most dangerous disciple, Cullen Bridger, forces the five teens to be evacuated to Carrow Mill. But when dark magic wreaks havoc in their new hometown, Justin and his siblings are immediately suspected. Justin sets out to discover if someone is trying to frame the Moonset orphans . . . or if Bridger has finally come out of hiding to reclaim the legacy of Moonset. He learns there are secrets in Carrow Mill connected to Moonset’s origins, and keeping the orphans safe isn’t the only reason the Congress relocated them .. . ***

My Thoughts?

Moonset by Scott Tracey

Once again I've been rendered surprised and speechless by the amazing writer Scott Tracey.

The author's not shy when it comes to witches and this time was definitely not the exception.

Moonset starts right off with the action, no candy, no sweet introduction… Simple terror was enough of an introduction for the author and I couldn't have been happier!

The characters were, for me, incredibly relate-able-worthy! Seriously… There was just something about each of every Moonset kid that got to me…
Whether it was Cole…being a kid… Innocent and happy and extroverted as well… Kids can be… Or Jenna being what every girl her age can be, in this case… Taking the word "wicked" to a whole new level! Seriously, no joke there.
And Bailey being sweet and keeping everyone kind of human and sane… Mal… being hot and getting the girls all hot and bothered in the process…
And of course, we shall not leave out our main character from whose pov this whole story is told… Justin, who is… Ummm I'll let the book tell you itself :D

-It had a voice like bones breaking, full of crackles and sibilant like a tire leaking.-

I can't believe how in love I fell, not only with the story but with the writing itself… I never knew that a story featuring things such as witches and wraiths could be told and described so awesome and beautiful and cryptic and scary and kind of disgusting-when it came to describing certain creatures-all at the same time… BUT this book proved me wrong and I'm so very very glad it did.

The surprise? How MUCH I enjoyed it!! I mean it. It's not that I'm not a fan of Scott Tracey's books… Trust me, I am… the thing is… I'm all for romance!! I'm a romance lover! And if a book doesn't have romance as some main part of a story I would most likely not even bother finishing a book… BUT… BUT… this book… While having romance had so much more and I didn't even notice the time that went by without romance, excuse me I was trying very hard not to snort awfully while laughing too hard when certain christmas decorations came into play… Or when a certain Kardashian comparison appeared… Or… Well… So many things…

Oh, but I got scared too… Scared for all Moonset. Because I care for each and every single one of them. And I really hate what they have to go through because of the mistakes that were made in the past by their parents.
They're literally all alone… and if they have protection is more because people are terrified of the curse than for their own well being.

-…And her magic…Had a tendency to take on a life of its own.
Like the time she stopped a fighting couple, pulling their feelings of love and attraction for each other. A spell that quickly spread, enveloping everyone for a full city block who dropped what they were doing and hooked up with the nearest person. -

Okay, sorry.
As I was saying, not everything is fun and happiness… I don't even know the guy but I sure am kind of scared to even know him… Bridger… Just WHAT is his deal??

As much as I would love to tell you all my questions were answered, I cannot do such thing. I'm dripping with questions and doubts and fears. I can't even imagine what is going on right now… I mean sure… I GOT some answers, maybe even ones that were right THERE but I was too invested in other things-Hello Cole?!!-to notice.
But I'm wary of all characters except the Moonset… So… I'm left here begging for more, wanting more, needing more, because I sure as clouds want a sequel right this second.

-"Do we really have to get all sentimental and in touch with our emotions? Ugh."-

My weaknesses?
There!! Just so there!!! O_O Moonset is set and center of this amazing book!! Is in it as much as on it! And the book cover is perfect!! Simply perfect!!

Enough said.

A grippy and really really chilly story. Where you don't know whether witches are good or bad, curses are bad or wrong, and can't tell normal people from well, not normal.
I've been hooked since word one and after a month of reading the book it still has its claws on me.

Completely recommend it.
I give this book,

5fotitos=~Sobs hard~Too good to be true!

About the Author

Scott Tracey is a YA author who lived on a Greyhound for a month, wrote his illustrated autobiography at the age of six, and barely survived Catholic school (and definitely not for the reasons you might think).
He is the author of WITCH EYES, chosen as one of Amazon’s Best LGBT Books of 2011, as well as an ALA Popular Paperback in the Forbidden Romance category. The final book in the WITCH EYES trilogy, PHANTOM EYES, will be released in the fall of 2013.
He is also the author of MOONSET, a new series which will be released April 8, 2013, as well as a contributor to the SHADOWHUNTERS & DOWNWORLDERS anthology, edited by Cassandra Clare.
His career highlights include: accidentally tripping a panic alarm which led to nearly being shot by the police; attacked in a drive-thru window by a woman wielding a baked potato, and once moving cross country for a job only to quit on the second day.
His gifts can be used for good or evil, but rather than picking a side, he strives for BOTH (in alternating capacity) for his own amusement.
