-Review- It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

- goodreads - amazon - [... He is. He asked for you. And I know you're with my brother and I'm with child, but can we please just take a moment to silently admire the perfection that is that man?] (Before the review let me tell you a bit about my reading experience as a whole...Also, I kinda was too emotional so there's a bit of cursing *something I rarely do* so beware.) I've read a lot of books in my lifetime. Some were so bad for me I wish I'd had a lighter right there to erase all traces of it from my shelves. Others were so good I constantly struggled with my selfishness to keep the story all to myself and not let anyone read it while at the same time wanting to have tons of people to discuss said good book with. Then came the gems. The epic books. The books that changed something in me every time I turned that last page and sigh a little contented sigh of happiness or sorrow or sadness or any feeling that happened to be evoked by the end

What Books Do I Buy? + Currently Reading!

I'm soon going on a small getaway trip to Orlando!!!! Woohoo!!! And it's been a long time since I last bought a book, like a printed book. So I'm really really really in much need of some help. I need you guys to recommend me some books you think I'd like :P You know I'm all about romance, YA, Paranormal, Contemporary, Urban Fantasy, NA, and so on. So please pretty please help out a booknerd, would ya? I've gotten some great recommendations so far but I want to make sure I don't pass up on books I'd enjoy hehehe. I hope y'all help me some. But before I go I'd just like to share what I'm... Currently Reading One to Hold by Tia Louise (So far, it's so sadly predictable and so insta everything I'm kind of wary but I guess it'll be a light and welcoming read compared to the other book I'm reading as well.) This Is Where It Ends by Marieke Nijkamp (Now this is being a really intense and suspenseful re

-BookPics Is Curious- What's on my playlist?

Image
I have no idea if this is a thing or tag or I don't know, but I've googled it and so far I've found only random posts about it when people have been asked what music they listen to so they decide to answer by posting a playlist with their current music choices. In my case I'll just share one song in my playlist because damnnnn, the thing changes constantly sometimes and other times I keep listening to the same songs for months. Right now I'm listening to one brand new song along with a really oldie but goodie one. First one, 너를 위해 (For you) by 첸, 백현, 시우민 (EXO's Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin) It's an OST for the drama 달의 연인 - 보보경심 려 ( Moon Lovers ) in which one of the singers is not exactly starring but he's still in it so... Yeah. It's amazing. It's romantic. And I love love love the beat and how their voices go together I cannot, I repeat, I cannot stop listening to this song! For You by Chen, Baekhyun & Xiumin And the other on

-Book Blast- Vial Things by Leah Clifford

Small intro by moi You guys! It's been forever since I read a YA book especially one that includes "supernatural" sprinkles. But I'm so glad I'm reading one right now, even better yet is the fact that it's by one of my very favorite YA authors, Leah Clifford who wrote an epic trilogy some years ago (Check my review of A Touch Mortal and A Touch Morbid  and my very short reaction to A Touch Menacing ) and if you've yet to read her Touch books I highly recommend that you do! Currently I'm like 20% in on this newly released book but BOY oh BOY! I was so not prepared for this, for ANY of this. Hope you take the plunge and check all of her books out. -hugs- Intro ends Leah Clifford is back with a BLOODY good young adult novel that you don’t want to miss. And at $2.99 – there’s no reason to!   Vial Things Synopsis As an eighteen-year-old resurrectionist, Allie knows staying vigilant means staying alive. The blood of the resurrectio

I am BACK! For now. Okay who knows. But don't lose faith in me. Don't forget to follow me on snapchat @ alba_bookpics And also on Instagram @ alba_bookpics I've been getting a LOT into makeup lately so you'll find I sometimes post my book related pictures with a makeup twist but they look pretty, I promise, kinda, I don't know. Hehehehe But even though I haven't been active on the blog, although depression and anxiety have had a lot to do with it, I have been seriously active on those 2 platforms plus my Facebook page BookPics (Follow there!!!) and sometimes I pop up on Twitter @ alba_bookpics (shamelessly asking you guys to practically stalk me everywhere hahahaha) all of this info you can find on the right sidebar of the blog ^__^ I have also been reading a lot. Stalking a lot of authors but sadly I haven't been stalking my favorite bloggers and that is something I regret a lot because this blog plus the videos I used to record were the one t

-Review- The Dirt On Ninth Grave by Darynda Jones

Image
- Goodreads - Amazon - The Book Depository - **Spoiler alert for all personas who have not read any of the 8 previous Charley Davidson books and a wake up call for you to do so. Yesterday!!** I am dead. I'm a walking dead. The walking dead. The ones that roam the earth. Without a heart. Without a soul. Because they were both taken away by perfectly written characters, characters such as Reyes and Charley or Janey or whatever you want to call her. Fictional characters, non-breathing characters but perfect and awesome nonetheless. So there you go, that's my story. The one of how I became a zombie while reading a book. How one little thing destroyed me so much... Because you know what? He's loved her for 1000 and one. ------------- -- "So, why are you living in a motel?" I felt a slight bristle come off him. "I was... seeing someone." A soft gasp escaped me. No idea why that would surprise me. "Was?" "S

This, I meant this. The fact that it's been over 6 months since I last posted kind of gives you an idea of how crazy my life has been not that I haven't been reading... But something about a loved one being sick and dealing with your own stuff it just... It hasn't been as easy or as manageable as I thought it'd be BUT that is SO not why I'm here for. I've been reading and reviewing books for years now but somewhere in between I lost track, missed the train and lost myself so I figured if I couldn't manage to post it here on my blog the least I could do is submitting my reviews for all those eARCs that Netgalley miraculously continues to approve to me XD (And it sure has been my salvation when I couldn't get my hands on some new releases last year.) So that's what I've been doing, reading and reviewing on netgalley only and then track my reads through goodreads ... But then the unthinkable happened... I finally caught up with all the C
