-rookie English & Spanish review- Stargazer by Claudia Gray

[Non edited]
again...we are viewing everything in Bianca's pov...wich I find really enjoyable...since now...she relly starts questioning everythin she'd ever believed was right...
struggling between...her love for Lucas...the pull she feels toward Balthazar...the distance that's growing between her and her parents...and if that's not enough...something...(not pretty)...seems to be claiming her...for no reason she can understand...
you'll see she's forced to grow up...she seems more determined than ever to find out everything about her...and what'll happen if she doesn't choose to become a vampire...
Claudia Gray leaves you definitely wanting more in the end...wich I'll admit LOVE IT!
you'll never get tired of reading this...
sexy,scary,vampires, hunters...and now...something entirely new...ghosts...or as vampires call them...WRAITHS...

I give this book

5fotitos=~Sobs hard~Too good to be true!

sexy, misterioso, vampiros, cazadores y ahora algo nuevo FANTASMAS...

Fiktshun's -Sweet Evil- Giveaway

Today, I got to leave work early and was doing the usual stuff... getting caught up with some blogs I follow, book cover haunting... And also... the daily stuff, hahaha, stalking Fiktshun.

And I happened to stumble upon a post which made me stumble yet into another POST... And it kind of made me... um... nervous.

As you may know, Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins was a book I knew about, pinned for, cried for, wished for thanks to the awesome Fiktshun and later on my dream came true when my BookAngel -N- gifted it to me...

Suffice it to say, I fell in love, and fell HARD as you might notice by my really really freaky-ish REVIEW.

But it appears that the sequel, has yet to be picked up, acquired, whatever you want to call it... Which means...-or what I think it means- that we still aren't sure if there IS going to be a sequel to Sweet Evil, though a book tittle and description are already up on Goodreads->

Sweet Hope
Anna Whitt promised herself she’d never do the work of her father—polluting souls. She’d been naive to make such a claim. She’d been naive about a lot of things.
Haunted by demon whisperers, Anna does whatever she can to survive, even if it means earning an unwanted reputation as her school’s party girl. And all the while there’s Kaidan Rowe, plaguing her heart and mind.
When an unexpected lost message from the angels surfaces, Anna finds herself traveling the globe with Kopano, son of Wrath, in an attempt to gain support of fellow Nephilim and give them hope for the first time. It soon becomes clear that whatever freedoms Anna and the rest of the Neph are hoping to win, will not be gained without a fight. Until then, Anna and Kaidan must put aside the issues that have formed between them, overcome the steamiest of temptations yet, and face the ultimate question: is loving someone worth risking their life?

And well, I'm SAD but... As ALWAYS. The AMAZING and AWESOME Fiktshun is having a giveaway for 1... not WAIT... For 2... NOOO I'm wrong again....
For 3.... Um... nope, that's not the number....
Ooooh! I remember now!

She's giving away 4, FOUR, CUATRO, QUATRO copies of Sweet Evil.

If you haven't had the chance to meet Kai ~swoons~ or Kopano ~swoons again~ I would highly recommend NOT to pass this chance up and in doing so you'll also be supporting author Wendy Higgins!

Don't miss your chance and enter!!

Now I leave you but NOT before linking you to the giveaway
[just move the cursor to the text after this one, it should light up as the link]

-rookie review- Boys That Bite by Mari Mancusi

[Non edited]
Sooooooo!!! what a great happy read this was...even when the writing got a bit repetitive I didn't mind it one bit!! actually I LOVED IT!!! it's rather different form other vampire books out there and the hilarious Sunny sure is another plus in the book!

And to make the not-so-long story even less-longer ^-^
Sunny was bitten by Magnus who at the time was a really jack-ss!! now she has 7 days to reverse the process.Process in wich her twin very-look-alike twin sister Rayne may NOT join her, even though she was the one who was supposed to be bitten not the other way around...finally she has to face head on that she has to spend most of her time with 'BAD'but 'HOT' Magnus to become human before its' too late...but...lately she finds hereself drawn to Magnus, and remembers that for the time being they're both blood mates...and can't help it!!
I liked it very much! thank you for this book! even when things started to seem to hard to handdle or to much for Sunny she always found a way to make me laugh through out the whole book! now can't wait for the next book in wich seems we'll find all our questions answered beeing as how this book ended!!!!!!!

I give this book
4fotitos=Genious crying.

-rookie review- Angel by L.A. Weatherly

[Non edited]
This books takes on a whole new meaning to the incredibly beautiful creatures that we know Angels are...
but this particular type of angel made the hair on the nape of my neck stand on end when I read what they are capable of when they're always the good guys trying to save the earth from evil and blah blah blah
nothing of that nonsense will be in this book when you read it...

Willow is neither angel nor human so what is she??
Alex HATES angels! and lives only to kill them...what happens when this 2 get together by her being the one on his list to kill...will change their lives forever...
I found this book soooooooooooooo good!! that I started re-reading a lot of chapters when I wasn done with them...
The love between the 2 main charcters doesn't develop as it does in a lot of books...they fight their ways to their own feelings...fight their natures and pasts...everything is not what it seems in this fantastic book!! that left me begging for more where it get to know different povs and get inside the head of the bad guys while reading it...

I give this book
5fotitos=~Sobs hard~Too good to be true!

-rookie review- Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick

[Non edited]
I was going through the books I've read and found that I hadn't written a review for Crescendo!!!
I believe it actually was because I was left speechless when I finished it.
In this second book we see a whole new Patch and suffer A LOT of pain through Nora's eyes. I love that we get to see MORE of one of my favorite characters of all time!!VEE!!!!~throws confeti~ and we see more of Rixon too!! we're introduced to Scott-a childhood friend of Nora and sadly we see more of Marcie Millar(so -BEWARE-)
Reading this I was reminded of the pain I went through reading a lot of sequels to books...specially books number 2!what's up with painful sequels?? uh? I found myself trying to rip the book to a million piecies or a chance to reach into the book find both Nora & Patch and shake them so they would go back to their old selves...and don't make me start with the HUGE! cliffhanger that Becca left as an ending. When I was sure no more pain would be inflected in/on my persona the book finished and as I said before, left me speechless-breathless and had to take 2 minutes to re-start my hurt heart
all in all call me masochist but I loved!! the book-in the end of course- I have this hate/love relationship with this can't wait for Silence to come out!!!

I give this book
10special-fotitos(special rating for over-the-top-I'll-never-get-over-this book) =
I cried for things I didn't know possible I was capable of.

-rookie review- Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

[Non edited]
Just finished re-reading this book!! and it sure remembered me why I loved it so much...never has been fallen been so tempting!!!gosh!!!
Patch!!I love the way he's so secretive and you're always suspicious about him every time there's a scene with him in the book! and well Nora seems to be the perfect fit for him...never giving up and wanting at all costs to discover what's really going on with him.

May I have a word and say that the best side-kick of every book I've read so far goes to VEE!!!!
I LOVE HER!!SHE'S LIKE! AMAZINGLY FUNNY!! the book wouldn't be the same without here...true the story revolves around Patch's story and desire to become human and Nora's life always at risk
but VEE!!is the spice to every page of this book!!!! she's funny, lovely, BFF!!!material!, TALL!!! and not thin at all!! wich for me it makes her perfect!!!!
thx Becca for making a wonderfull book!!that I'm sure I've read more than 4 times already!!!!!and never ever!!, I believe will I get tired of it!!!!
~clears throat~ Rixon!!yum!!

I give this book
5fotitos=~Sobs hard~Too good to be true!

*On listing my reviews*

Just a quick post to let you know that I'm currently working on making a list to all of my reviews so you can all better access them.

Now, while doing this I discovered that I never got to post some of them here whereas I did post them on my Facebook page, since THAT'S where BookPics first started...

So, this next couple of weeks I'll be posting them here and later on adding them to the list.

Of course, there'll be a tab under the header for you to easily click it.

Remember, these reviews were most likely written last year but I want them to be here as well, I seriously never thought I'd ever forget about posting them here but there you go lol.
I guess I was just too excited when I started reviewing here on the blog to remember the oh-awesome-rookie reviews that those are!

Sorry in advance if this will, in any way, bug you.

Keep reading beautiful BookPic-ERS.

Cover Obsession #12 [The 2-books-of-the-same-author Edition]

Cover Obsession is a feature here on BookPics.
-I really don't know if anyone else does it as I do but I'm not trying to steal any other ideas out there-
In which I tell you what new book covers I'm completely in love with, pinning for, drooling over, tearing-up over, going all OH CLOUD! on and all the other AMAZING-FANTASTIC-AWESOME-BOOKPIC-LY verbs and adjectives and adverbs you can think of that just simply aren't enough to describe how I feel towards said covers so,
I just go ahead and OBSESS over them :D

-Blood Solstice by Samantha Young [The Tale of Lunarmorte #3]
Oh my GOD! How AWESOME and GORGEOUS and CREEPY can this cover be? I seriously think this one nailed it head on! I have no WORDS! NO WORDS! I'm obsessing over the position the model is and what she is HOLDING!

Nameless by Lili St. Crow [Tales of Beauty and Madness #1]
This is freaking awesome, I recently found out I love retelling of some classical faerie stories and I don't think this one will be the exception, on the contrary... Plus I just recently started reading this author's books(Strange Angels series)and I'm in love with her writing.
What I'm obsessing over is the color of the cover, the font of the tittle and how we can't completely see the model's face... And can I just add... That HAIR! ~drops dead~

Hollowed by Kelley York
I participated last Friday on the cover reveal of this very book cover even snatching a little bit about what the author thinks of the story, but I've yet to get over the gorgeousness that it is! Seriously I'm obsessing over everything but what I like the most is the contrast of the girl's hair, her eyes, and all the light that the white brings out making the font's transparency stand out even more.

Darkness, Kindled by Samantha Young [Fire Spirits #4]
I haven't a word on my lexicon to try and explain how much I'm obsessing over and loving this cover!

Immortal Craving by Kendra Leigh Castle [Dark Dynasties #4]
Oh my GOD! ~dabs at drool~ Sorry I spaced out for a bit there. This cover was just released yesterday so the book-while making this post-isn't even on goodreads, YET. But I'm obsessing over... the goosebumps Check it OUT! ~sighs contentedly~

-Cover Reveal- Hollowed by Kelley York

Hello my beautiful people!

Today I've got an amazing cover to reveal to all of you!!

It's the very first time I'm OFFICIALLY participating in a cover reveal post and I couldn't be more excited and happy AND most of all, nervous!

I don't know what one is supposed to say before revealing a cover besides the book's description >.<

But I WILL tell you that I literally jumped at the chance for this to happen. I LOVED Kelley's book 'Hushed' and I reviewed it here on the blog last year.

And now, without further ado...
I leave you with...
THE cover

Hollowed By Kelley York

Tittle: Hollowed
Release Date: August 15th 2012
All 18-year-old Briar Greyson wanted was to figure out this whole living-away-from-your-parents thing. Apartment, steady job, cool roommate? Check. Noah, her adorable (albeit elusive) boyfriend? Check. Everything in the life of Briar was pretty good.

Then she and her roommate are attacked on their way home one night. Briar wasn't supposed to survive.

Instead, according to the two guys who saved her, she's turning into the things that attacked her: a vampire. Totally crazy and Not Okay. Now Noah's secrets are coming to light, and he wants Briar dead. Then there are the vampires who attacked Briar to lure out her sister.

Her sister...who died years ago.

(Didn't she?)

The city's body count is rising, and Briar wants to help put a stop to it. But first, she has to figure out who the real enemy is: the vampires, the boy she loves, or the sister she thought she'd lost.

Oh my clouds!
I absolutely love the cover!
It's so completely gorgeous and mysterious and immediately draws you in!
The look in the girl's eyes promises secrets and if those secrets are yours, she sure as hecks will discover them.

I like the font too while in some other book covers translucent font doesn't work, in this one I felt like it was perfect!

I love it and having read the book's description-gasp-I know I know, I read a book's description but still, I'm already dying for this book to come out.

And I have a little surprise for you!
The very author of the book has dropped by the blog to share a little bit of her thoughts on the book's story.

During HOLLOWED, you'll meet vampires, witches, and maybe a shape-shifter if you're lucky. This isn't a boy-meets-girl sort of story. There is no dashing paranormal hero sweeping in to fall in love with, and save, the human girl. HOLLOWED revolves more around friendships, soured love, family bonds, and the search for truth. I hope everyone enjoys Briar's story!

>.< I'm fangirling! I can't help it. You can also check out the author's post by going HERE.

What do you think of the cover? Love it as much as I do? Will you be adding it to your reading list? Don't be shy and leave your thoughts in the comments section!

-review- Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins

Goodreads Shortie:
Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

The Characters/Scenery:
Anna is definitely the purest girl I've ever read about and she definitely lives up to her description... She can't lie, she doesn't like secrets, her feelings are always shown, she helps her mom, she loves her life, loves her best friend...
But even though she doesn't like secrets, she has a HUGE one, one she doesn't want or can't share even with her mom... And she's drawn to evil... Literally.
Anna's character is amazingly enjoyable and so very good! I really liked reading from her POV.

And Kaidan... I don't even want to try to explain to you what this guy, if he could even be called that, did to my insides. He took 'The New Evil is HOT' to a whole new level. If I'm guaranteed that if I were to turn evil HE would be mine, guys I'm so going to the dark side like that~blinks~ I think the girl who has fallen the hardest for him is IO! ME! YO! Seriously!!! Not even Anna or Ginger can compete with me!

And Jay, he is definitely awesome and I LOVE him to the death!!! He brought a kind of lightness, making all the difficult and heavy parts of the book endurable and enjoyable.

-Deflecting something from the outside was easier than capturing what was inside me and managing it.-

The Plot:
Having read quite a few angel books, I have to say, Sweet Evil is still so very very different than any other angel book out there, bringing in the fresh to new and old beliefs and stories revolving Heaven and Hell and I have to say that, what better source of info than the very Bible. Wendy Higgins I APPLAUD to you!!!
The author made the story feel as real as it could get, seriously. You cannot get any more serious and close to home than this!

Believable characters, believable plot, oh so very very sexy demons, funny twists, and crushing thoughts.

-"Who are you waving at?" Veronica asked me.
"Um, that big monkey. I think he's staring"-

Oh My Cloud! My Poor Feelings!
Jesus Clouds! You guys, if I'm alive is because it's physically impossible for a human to melt from sheer fictional character hotness!!
My favorite character was and is Kaidan! It just was, such a ride to read every single scene in which he took even the slightless part!
*I will never look at a freckle the same way again. NEVER IN MY LIFE!*

-I followed [character name] up the stairs, attempting to convince myself that having tea with a demon[...] was nothing to be scared about.-

My Weaknesses:
The tittle,
Oh my GOD! The tittle was in the book!!! It was literally mentioned. I was seriously doubting that it would happen because even though I think the tittle goes really well with the whole story, I still didn't see any break in the dialogue or the general story-writing in which it could be said but oh my CLOUDS! Guys be  ready! When you least expect it... BOOM! Sweet Evil! So, tittle in the book as it is on it.
The cover,
I have to admit at first I wasn't such a huge fan of the cover because of the girl's dress. I don't know what got into me that first time but later on I got a REALLY good look at it, and the bright side vs. the dark side? PERFECTION! You'll see the meaning of it throughout the whole reading!

-This guy was sexy like it was his job or something.-

An amazing fresh take on the classic Angels/Demons stories, filled of addictive yummyness and dangerous pleasures. Believe me when I tell you, when you read this book giving into temptation will seem like the most awesome thing you could ever do and you'll wonder why you hadn't done so before!

I give this book:
5fotitos=~Sobs hard~Too good to be true!

I cannot believe I forgot to thank my BookAngel! Without whom this review wouldn't even exist! Thanks Nat

Bookography #18 & #19

Bookography is a post created by Kristina from Kristina's World of Books. Where you can combine both of my very favorite things in the world. Photography & Books ;) So grab a camera and do your thing. You don't have to be a professional or anything like that. Just share your love of books through a picture and that's it ;)
-She usually posts them on wednesdays~
So make sure you stop by her blog and share the love!

Today I will post 2 pictures to make up for last week's missed post!
I've been kind of all over the place lately! But SEE!! I made a review last week and another one this week AND I'm currently working on 2 more!!!! YEY!!
But that's so not what you're here for... So let's just get this party started!

-"I'm the dark you've always craved, Kristen. I need your light."-
~A Touch Morbid by Leah Clifford~

The Quote:
Chose the quote because when I see the picture I dont know who is reaching for who... Is the sun trying to light all those shadows? Or. Are those shadows trying to opaque the sun?

The Picture:
I didn't do a thing to the picture other than add my name to it :D

-The only existence I know now is the one I was given. An echo of what used to be.-
~Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi~

The Quote:
Do I need to explain? >.<
Argh, I firstly wanted to edit this picture to fit with Juliette's-Shatter Me-bird but then I thought better of it, the quote I used is still from Shatter Me but it doesn't mention specifically the bird that Juliette's so fond of...

The Picture:
I drained all the color hehe and had to go bit by bit to just color the canary :D Then I wanted to have a dark background besides the black I got in the picture while adding contrast :D Then came the frame, I wanted it to be framed, I know, I'm freaky but well...
Here it is :D A lot of editing for this one.

-review- Everneath by Brodi Ashton

Goodreads shortie:
Last spring, Nikki Beckett vanished, sucked into an underworld known as the Everneath, where immortals Feed on the emotions of despairing humans.[...]She has six months before the Everneath comes to claim her, six months for good-byes she can’t find the words for, six months to find redemption, if it exists.

The characters-scenery:
When one is presented with such complex and unique characters, there is NOTHING, nothing that one could add about them in a review.
But let me just tell you a BIT~hello sarcasm hehehe~about the amazing characters that author, Brodi Ashton created...

When you pick the book up and start reading you're immediately sucked into a really detailing scenario and you feel exactly, what main character Nikki, feels and sees.
Her emotions are raw even though she doesn't wear them under her sleeve or on her face by reading from her POV you definitely FEEL with and for her.

I also fell in love, HARD, with a male character. And this time I don't think it's the bad guy... At least not that I know of... YET... But Jack is simply, deeply and amazingly REAL and so very very broken. I have a really soft spot for the broken ones, specially the broken ones that don't give up on the thing that broke them in the first place.

And Cole, I firstly LOVED Cole to such extent that it was kind of crazy. But get this, HE IS A MUSICIAN and isn't love better with a little harmony to go with it? He is, what you would call, utter temptation, without him tempting you at all but YOU thinking about what would it be like to just... Give in and try something different, something less hurtful, something, new.

All the other characters were amazing. Each and every single one of them giving to the story while also playing an important role of their own. I was specially drawn to Nikki's relationship with her dad... That just struck a little too close to home but that was the GOOD thing, I was in tears almost every single scene in which her dad came into view!

And the WHOLE place or non-place where the story is set is so creepy and dark but yet also real, as in the place ON THIS SIDE OF LIFE in which Nikki and Jack live and the dark place being the Everneath or well, the part that we got to see or got even a glimpse of.

-Five months since the one person who knew all my dreams disappeared forever.-

The Plot:
I really have nothing more to say than,
This girl is FIERCE even when she's so easily broken and driven to the shadowy and dark side of herself, the purpose, the goals, everything she wants to achieve... She fights and fights HARD she doesn't want to give up and she certainly doesn't want, maybe? To give in... Cole is a really delicious & safe out from the disaster that her life has become and having only 6 months to do everything right for the last time kind of gives a girl a little of a, we will call it, PANICKY personality.

I mean it though, I cried so hard and laughed and smiled and just simply fell deeply and even more deeply in love with the whole, I don't even know what to call it but PLOT kind of doesn't do this book justice...

Right to the point, torturous, heartbreak-filled are some of the adjectives that I'd use to describe this book.

-"Becks, remember the first time we met?[...] "You mean, the time you nearly beheaded me with a baseball?"-

Oh My Cloud! My Poor Feelings:
I never thought I'd see the day or the book, in this case, in which I'd connect so much with a non-contemporary book. The only book that has gotten to me in such a level before was Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi and I felt so broken then, but this time. This time I was taken to whole new levels of broken, whole new levels of crying and heartbreak and whole new levels of darkness and tears. My still swollen eyes after 2 days of finishing this book being one proof of that.

My heart stopped several times while reading this, my thoughts scattered and didn't want to gather around and up when I finished the book... And now, even after God knows how many weeks since reading the book... Sitting here and trying to somehow do this book justice seems like a far-off thing that my subconscious is doing instead of my very own self.

If I could have this book's contents as wallpaper all over my room, believe me I'd do in on a heartbeat... But I LOVE my printed HB copy TOO much for that... Though I think it might not be a bad idea to print some of my favorite passages~how in the world am I ever going to manage that is beyond me, since the WHOLE FREAKING BOOK is ONE BIG AMAZING QUOTE!~we'll try, I can't give up that easily, not after reading Nikki's story.

-Strange that I'd recovered my laughter long before my tears.-

And let's finish with, My Weaknesses:
Both were on this book.
First, the tittle!
The tittle is actually what the whole book revolves around, the Everneath and all that it implies, the Everneath and what could it mean, the Everneath and Cole's background, the Everneath and Nikki's future, the Everneath and Jack's fate... See? EVERYTHING has to do with it, so the tittle is IN the book as it is ON the book.
Second, the cover!
The cover describes the book perfectly. To the dot! lol. Plus is so gorgeous is okay to droll-I don't judge, I did so myself when I got my very in-real-life copy.-

-"Why do you keep coming back if you're not going to stay?"-

Brodi Ashton, wherever you are, if I, someday-somehow get to meet you... Beware of my hugs...

-Ever Yours.-

An amazing dark story written like a song and one that will forever live in my heart.
The happiest saddest book I've ever read in my entire life!!!!!!!
Don't miss the chance to read it!

I Give This Book
10special-fotitos(special rating for over-the-top-I'll-never-get-over-this book) =
I cried for things I didn't know possible I was capable of.

I still have to read Brenna's -The Space Between- But I ABSOLUTELY fell in love with her -The Replacement- I never thought I'd loved it as much as I did, so is only normal... I'm DYING for this one!

Argh! This effect is KILLING ME! I'm in love with this cover!

I couldn't NOT share this RIGHT?!

-review- Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent

This is the story of how I lost my life...

Wait. No!!
This is a REVIEW or you know, the chronicle of my life while reading the book, my feelings throughout my reading...
The thing is... I died so many times while reading this single book I think I'm not even human anymore, not that I'd care to be a reaper knowing I'd join Tod ~sigh~ and Kay :D

But before I start... just so you know... even the 'Dedication' of this book is AMAZING and almost brought me to tears~happy ones~ :'( It just shows how Rachel appreciates each and every reader of her books out there, and I felt cherished and loved right there on the spot...reading that dedication... I stayed up even later than normal that night to continue my reading of this book!

~But Tod was the same. Only better~

There hasn't been a series I have read in which ALL characters are described in such a way and that their lives and actions affect tremendously the plot of the book. ALL characters!

Kaylee, I'm still in shock, though I still love you! But for some reason, a little part of me will always, somehow wonder... what IF what happened on 'My Soul to Keep' didn't happen? What IF you didn't do what you did, what IF Nash... well... But now... that part receded to the corners of my heart and mind to welcome this completely twisted and painful plot that is 'Before I Wake'.
I still cannot believe that after all you have been through, you still find the strength and the heart and the love and the conviction to continue, to move on, to love, and to fight for what you consider right.

This was beyond creepy. I was being haunted by everyone I'd ever failed to save-all the ghosts of my past.

This time, Nash-Tod-Emma-Dad-Harmony-Alec-Luca-Sophie-Sabine-Uncle-Styx NO ONE, I repeat, no one is safe, everyone is a target, anyone can be used as a weapon... All can be hurt.

With the unpredictable plot that this book has, my heart suffered way more than was capable of suffering hence my multiple deaths.

I think, and this is only me, that this time around things are CRUEL in such a way that you'll be breathless by the middle of the book and DYING by the end of it.
CRUEL people, CRUEL as in raw, painful, torturous, cry-worthy, sob-worthy and all synonyms of that one adjective...

"So, Kaylee, how's your first day back going?"
"Fine." As long as "fine" could be defined as the half-way point between horrible and unbearable.

Of course, the book also is HOT and SEXY and so very very very Crush-worthy... Seriously it is as hotsexyawesome as it is cruel...

*The scenes between Kay and Tod made me pause more than I care to admit, return to the previous pages, and read the scene all over again so I could swoon and fall even more for Tod -as if that were possible.-
*The scenes between Kay and Nash hurt, but also... opened my eyes to things I tried to avert my eyes from before... I can see how they both hurt... but also... how both are healing, specially Nash. And I'm so happy for that. After all he was the first and forever will be the first love of mine :D
*The scenes between Kay and Emma, ooooooh Emma you don't know what I'd give to have a friend like you...

"...I need to get back to work. These sick people aren't going to kill themselves, you know."

*Sophie and Sabine O_O I think they both stole the show whenever they were around and I love love love them both seriously... I never thought I'd say this... but if I have to deal with Sophie in order to bring out the side of Sabine I saw in the book? Bring it on girl!
I've never been a fan of Sophie, not even after reading her 'Never To Sleep' pov-ed novella... but in this book... I loved her for what Sabine did while she was around...

"An apology isn't a Band-Aid," I insisted. "It's an expression of regret."

*The pets T_T I'm so heartbroken I CRIED CRIED and CRIED I nearly threw my tablet away because of THAT and my heart broke and shredded and tried to mend itself when BOOM!!!!
THAT other thing happened... and after that... I kind of just went numb... numb all over...
I still have parts of my heart that fail to respond thanks to THAT...

*HELLIONS! YES! ~plural~ I hate each and every single one of you with every fiber of my being! Also... Thane -______- you're on my list...

*But it was a certain scene with Nash and Tod that gave me hope, hope for both of them....

"The world lost something when you died..."

And I think that's it for me... I'll need to reread this pretty soon. I couldn't manage to pick it up again right after finishing it... because my heart wouldn't have been able to take it, but maybe next month...

I give this book
10special-fotitos(special rating for over-the-top-I'll-never-get-over-this book) =
I cried for things I didn't know possible I was capable of.

A 'Thank You' note...
Rachel C. T_T I don't know what would myself be without you right now... I mean... there's a difference between generous and you...  And... before I get sappy...
